Nothing less than 40?
What about safer guns?
Heres mine. Its legal, when you cant conceal and carry. I think, even at my age, I can deal with a soy boy punk wielding a skateboard with it.
Thx for the link. The gal in the forefront of the training vid is a grin.
May I suggest that the ‘fancy’ self-defense canes are just an incitement for a DA to go after you.
You don’t need a metal end or serrations to use a cane, just solid wood (skip the hollow aluminum). Unadorned and normal says “I wasn’t looking for a fight” if it comes to justifying self-defense.
How come yesterdays stars were so Alpha?
Sounds very nice.
I like the idea of having a way for people to protect themselves.
Use one when my back is acting up. Added 3oz lead shot in silicone plug at bottom for...oh yeah, stability.
LOL! Very effective. My Dad (RIP) had a shillelagh. I think it went to the grave with him.
Let me guessyou sell them?
I have a super secret assault cane with a really pissed old fart attachment.
Looks exactly like the B&W drawing in post 30...except with me attached to the crooked end...
lol Your dad sounds like a fine man! I always wanted a real blackthorn, but I actually use this one as a walking stick (I have a game back), and I fear I’d cherish the real thing too much and treat it as a museum piece! :)

Why not a cane with a sword inside. Andrew Jackson used one. If it is good enough for him it is legal enough for me.
With a firearm backup.

Bonk
Agree.
As a disabled veteran of 71 years I can make a reasonable case for carrying a walking stick. Sometimes I really do need it, though rarely. When traveling, of course, always.
Mine is an old oak walking stick with a substantial, plain solid brass knob, tapering down to a half-inch ferrule tip. I have covered it with spiral French hitching and turk’s heads of tarred seine twine. Very nautical looking.
TSA agents always comment on it. Never anything negative but they do sometimes try to pull the “Sword” out. They sometimes point out that it would make a good weapon. I always correct them and say “Mobility aid”.
