lol Your dad sounds like a fine man! I always wanted a real blackthorn, but I actually use this one as a walking stick (I have a game back), and I fear I’d cherish the real thing too much and treat it as a museum piece! :)
Thank you for your kind words about my Dad. Yesterday was his 10 year anniversary and he was indeed a very good man. Dad’s blackthorn was a real one and he used it as a walking stick. It came from Ireland, as did he. I had not thought about the cane in years but think about my Dad each and every day.
