When I was in high school they forced us to read Great Expectations which I HATED but then later on my own I read A Tale of Two cities and then I liked Dickens. Try RLS Kidnapped and there’s a sequel, Catriona, I think. A romance, and both are very exciting.

I may be wrong in my recollection, but wasn’t Weiner caught because the NYPD traced his sexting to a minor online and in real time? I don’t think he actually lost physical control of his laptop until the NYPD took it from him.
The story with Hunter is that he gave it to a repair shop and then failed to retrieve it, and the terms of the repair agreement allowed the shop to own it after a period of abandonment.
It seems so reckless that I’m not sure what to believe. But then ... meth addict.
THe only thing I can think of is that there were two things, one Bitem Jr’s laptop at the shop, and then the files from the Chinee whistleblower. Two things is the only thing that makes sense.

Well that was initially what was thought, but then it turned out that some company had the laptop-IIRC. Can’t recall the details and it’s really hard to know at this point whut the heck the truth is—I think it’s that Art of War methodology.
