If you're like me, you support President Trump and his re-election.
My two questions for you are:
Have you been asked your opinion about the election by any of the mainstream pollers?
Did you give your opinion about the election to any of the mainstream pollers?
My answers would be NO and NO?
In the past I willingly participated in polls because I felt that they might help to direct public opinion toward my own opinion. I would answer phone calls from callers unknown to me hoping they were pollers.
Now I answer none of these calls. I will not talk to anyone I do not know.
I don't know how many FReepers there are, but if nearly all are like me, then it would be no wonder that President Trump trails Joe Biden in the polls.

Never. I never answer the phone though, because 75% of my calls are spam/robocalls.
I’ve been asked to participate in a poll maybe a dozen times. I don’t do polls. Hang up.
I get an email political survey from Civiqs Survey about once a month. I always complete their online survey. I just got one today.
I haven’t since I don’t answer the phone if I don’t recognize the name/number on my phone ID.
I got 3 or 4 calls during the last few presidential elections when I lived in a Maryland suburb of DC. I never got to tell them who I was voting for because as soon as I answered the “Your race please” question as “White,” the pollster hung up. Only one of the several who did that had the courtesy to say “Sorry, we have filled our quota for whites.”

There’s so much spam/scam phone calls these days I don’t answer the phone unless it’s a number I recognize. I think many if not most people who have money in the bank are the same. Why risk it? Those with nothing to lose or who aren’t smart enough to know the dangers probably answer. Simple as that.
If I got polled, however, I would make it clear how I felt. Especially the part about how Democrats are obvious crooks who feed on the weak, if I had a live operator.
I get a lot of polling calls, robocalls and polling texts now. Perhaps I’m on a list and perhaps I’m marked as someone willing to answer them. I even get them for issues in states I’ve never lived in.
and I LIE on every single one. I consider it my civic duty. At best, pollsters are lazy, using slipshod statistical methods and cheap shotgun- blast methods to put out a faulty product and get paid.
AT WORST - they are controlled propaganda tools, manipulated by corrupt corporate media and their political masters to achieve a fake political narrative

Exactly. Funny how this obvious reaction by most is never even mentioned as a potential reason for faulty data when polling is discussed by the media.

I logged in as a 35 year old, Latina lesbian with 4 kids.
I am unemployed and will vote for biden and all demonRATs.
I just hope I didn't mess up their poll.
There are only 6 or 7 people (immediate family) I answer the phone for and usually it means it’s really important. I never answer if I don’t know the number.

Nope. I’ve been quite happy that most of these calls seem to be coming from numbers I blocked 4 years ago. I get one ring and they’re gone.

I make my opinion known at the voting booth, which I have already done for this cycle.
Polls? I don’t even answer the phone anymore. If callers want to talk to me i make them leave a message.
