The depression caused by COVID is a real thing.
My wife and I have both experienced it.
In DE we have had to wear masks and social distance since May 1st.
We were locked down 2 days before the national shutdown on March 16th.
We are still in Phase 2, with new goal posts being used to keep us there.
We obliterated the curve here months ago, but there is no sunlight.
We have a Democrat governor who follows someone else’s orders, not ours.
We live in a GOP county in a blue state.
It is very depressing.
Being retired makes it somewhat easier for us.
Two sons live in neighboring NJ, which is even more draconian.
We finally were able to see our grandkids in August after not seeing them since December. Thank God for Facetime.
Our governor, like Whitmer in MI, just keeps renewing the state of emergency and creating dictums that are treated like law, usurping the role of the legislature.
No one is pushing back, but people are increasingly reaching the boiling point.
More than half the country is FREE, while the rest of us live in a semi-dictatorship, with our freedoms severely curtailed.
We have been corkscrewed into the ground with fear.
Only a fighter like Trump can break the spell.
And that is what he is doing.
The price of these lockdowns is too high.

I get the distinct feeling I only have one chance at getting the answer right about the bacon.
Now President bedroom light is ON
My adult daughter lives with us, and works a group home in the area for developmentally disabled adults.
She has had to be tested on three occasions for COVID, as some of the people in the home developed it, and one died from it.
Of course, there was concern that she would be infected and bring it home to us, as both of us are seniors now, so that made for some very stressful times.
She never got it and neither did we, by God’s grace.
We are on NJ’s cooties list, as I call it, and have not been able to travel there since the end of August, when we got there and back just before the travel restrictions went into effect—again!
But we live in a beautiful farming area here near the coast in southern DE, in a senior development where we have good friends and we all look out for each other. That makes it much more bearable.
But it has been a nightmare for those who still have to work and have school age children.
It will all change Nov. 4th, but we have to get there first—another four weeks. We are well past 200 days now.
We can do another 28 days.

We have a pubbie gov who has a rat mindset. I am sure she could not be reelected. Our mask order was extended to Nov. 8.
I have a health condition so I choose to breath. Only was challenged once.
Dan Scavino used to post pictures showing the lights on in a second floor bedroom at the WH.
We took that to mean something important was going on.

‘I have fully authorized the total Declassification of any & all documents,’ President Trump tweeted on Tuesday.
Trump was referring to documents related to the Russia investigation and the FBI’s investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.
The information, first made public by Fox News, Tuesday, and the documents obtained by SaraACarter.com confirm that Ratcliffe received the information from the highest levels of the U.S. intelligence community.
“I have fully authorized the total Declassification of any & all documents pertaining to the single greatest political CRIME in American History, the Russia Hoax. Likewise, the Hillary Clinton Email Scandal. No redactions!” reads Trump’s tweet.

President Trump’s decision comes immediately after the Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe declassified documents that showed that former CIA Director John Brennan had briefed former President Obama on Hillary Clinton’s alleged “plan” to set up a distruction from the FBI investigation into the her using a private email server for official purpose.
