Regardless of who is elected, it'll be civil war
World Net Daily ^ | 19 August 2020 | Erick Rush

With one exception, the wars in which the United States has engaged since its inception involved our nation against one or more external adversaries. That exception, the American Civil War (1861-1865), still elicits an emotional response among our citizens due to the inherent tragedy connected to a nation at war with itself – the whole "brother against brother" dynamic that is recalled whenever discussions of this conflict arise.

One less common aspect of our Civil War (as compared to other nations that have endured civil wars) is that America was geographically divided at the time by the Mason-Dixon line, which divided the Union and Confederate states. This more resembled traditional military conflicts with external adversaries, and has colored many Americans' idea of what a civil war is like. Unlike our Civil War, civil wars in most nations generally involve disparate or dissident factions fighting against each other and/or whatever regime is holding power.

I'm not going to say that what we've been experiencing over the last three months have been the first salvos of a civil war, but it sure looks like it. While hard-line socialists in the Democratic Party are working within the political infrastructure and behaving as though they are conducting the business of governance according to the rule of law and constitutionally established procedures, they are in fact in the process of fomenting civil war – or at least, they have made it apparent that they are willing to go that far if they are not able to gain ascendency via political means.

"It’s pretty obvious the DOJ is not on OUR side."

"DOJ has not made the slightest move against the leaders, organizers, communications, and financiers of antifa."

"The DOJ has had and probably still has spies embedded in the White House against the president."

"DOJ was the chief sponsor of the coup attempt. Nobody there has been punished."

All of this is right on the money..! The deep state is a whole lot deeper then we could ever imagen.. :(

”....authorization’ by unified action...”

I will certainly stand beside ANavyVet and fight and die in a losing, hopeless cause that I know is right. When our liberty is gone (is it already?) I think it’s a sure one it will never return, without God’s intervention. He is a patriot and a great American, as you, and he will do what needs done.

In 1776 we were at war for a year before the Declaration. We had legitimate functioning governments exercising authority to mobilize troops, and win our independence. In 1861, we had been fighting for years in Kansas and other places before the SC Ordinance was passed. Again we had legitimate organs of government acting within what they considered their legal domain to raise troops and wage war on both sides. There has to always be some way of coloring the resistance with legitimacy.

We won the War of Independence when the French navy arrived at Chesapeake! Francis Marion just kept the resistance alive. Likewise the Union was preserved by gunboats on the Mississippi and Ironclads in the Gulf (and by the English Navy refusing to intervene,) not by snipers.

ANavyVet actually envisions a defeat scenario, like the 1870's resistance to Yankee occupation which is vaguely remembered as Reconstruction, or perhaps the Boers in the first decade of 20th century South Africa, or perhaps the Irish Catholics in 1970's Belfast. Their effectiveness can be debated, but in each case there was an existing organizational authority, and system of communication through churches and lodges. We have none of that today.

There has to always be some way of coloring the resistance with legitimacy.

The caveat is it's the winner of any conflict that always gets to decide who's fight was legitimate and who's wasn't.

Thank you Sir, I appreciate your sentiment, loyalty, and comittment. However, if this really were to occur, I don't want you to stand beside me. I'd rather you be in the ranks behind me while I take point and give the enemies position away when they hit me. Even at 70, I still have the stamina to do at least that. It would be my greatest honor to allow you to pinpoint the opposition.

I don't believe that will be the scenario. Think clandestine. Think scopes. Think targets. During the Revolution, the English cried foul because the Swamp Rats were targeting their officers. Unfair to them, but effective for the Colonialists. Think about that.

The above is just talk. I don't endorse nor want an up face or clandestine war in our Nation. I want to live my remaining years with my wife and doggy. Still, I'd be there if called by a Neighborhood Watch, Militia, or my next door neighbor. LIVE FREE OR DIE! Guess I should buy a couple guns just in case the rioters come down this way. Not sure what is legal in CA anymore.

Directly opposite is bank and church property where they will gather.
You should see all the chatter on FB.
Mountaineer Warrior Alliance [ex military bikers] several WV militia, other MCs and what seems to be a whole lot of just good ol’ boys will be there.
The paper pushers in Charleston approved this and the town itself is livid about the permit.
Big question, WHY BS?
It’s a bumpkin town in the middle of nowhere and the state park is smaller than most people’s backyards.

Some sh*tshow is being ginned up or they wouldn’t be coming there.

Looking for a spark to light a fire?

Every inch of the town is a “carry it if ya got it” place except actually inside the “state park”.

Not sure I’d be taking the bike as my back tires are useless in the rain and they’re calling for a thunderstorm around 6.
Probably take the PT Loser instead, because I don’t want the Mag getting hurt.

This is some crazy crap, right here.

I’ve been trying to find a FB group that might have live feeds.

This is West By God Virginia, where you don’t even need to ask permission to carry.

Those people are scarier than that, by far.

:D

Having been inside the “Patriot Movement” for years, who shall I believe, you, or my lying eyes?

There are people who do a lot of talking, and then there are people who talk very little, and just act when the time comes. Sounds like you've been hanging out with the talkers.

I don't believe that time has come quite yet for shooting, and I'm willing to bet a lot of other guys feel the same way. Sure, there is a lot more conservatives could be doing to be influential right now without shooting, but stomping through the streets holding signs and doing chants is a game for children.

The bicameral system isn't what's destroying America. It wouldn't matter if there were 50 parties. Lack of understanding of a Republic versus a Democracy and gutteral hate of America...is what's destroying America.

And we're already in a civil war. It's low intensity conflict but it's definitely a civil war.

Ping me if you find a live FB feed. I used to have a PT Loser. Good looking car, was only a year old when I got it and looked sharp after I retconned it into a 30’s style roadster, but it wasn’t worth a bucket of spit mechanically. And why BS? Well, why Cumberland? They’re looking to instigate. They’re hoping they can get the ‘other’ side to jump offsides and claim more victimhood status. At the same time, they won’t be as prone to pull a Portland in BS because a line would form for everyone to take turns stomping a mudhole in their asses. They’ll only start chimping if they can do it hit and run style. They’ll be bottlenecked along 522 there.

It is a feeble car, to be sure but the hood has that spiffy “cow catcher” shape to it, unlike the king sized bed hood of the Magnum.

Will keep looking for video feeds but Himself just informed me I have to run him some urgent errands in Htown today.

Dammit.

I’m being sent on an “emergency run” to AutoZone.

He’s in the middle of something and can’t go get it himself.

So much for my so-called life.

I *would* have had a 120 pound Doberman watching my six so that was not my worry.

Crossfire.

Crossfire was my only worry.

Yeah. Urgent errands. In Hagerstown. At 4 in the afternoon. On a Friday. The package store can't be that far away, can it? LOL! I'd have The Queen stop and get me beer on the way home, but she always shorts me and I don't want to wait three more hours for a cold adult beverage, so I guess I gotta go shower up and play fetch (like I've done much else around here this week other than feed the cats - I gotta motivate myself and get a post-retirement life). God forbid I'd fix a glass of her peach wine. Besides, I've cooked dinner four days straight, so she's getting Subway tonight. LOLOL

He’s building a trike.

He needs brake lines or some such other thing.

I don’t ask.

He orders it on the phone and they hand it to me and I ust go fetch it home.

Living this Friday night right on the hemorrhaging edge, I tell ya.

I do wonder what will happen to the “Trump & Trump Attorneys At Law” place right near the park.
I reckon they’re nervous right now.
