Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.

Your view of the trappings is close - the pride some have in their education and training puts a wall up. The rituals or 'ordinances' can be a vehicle to visit the spirit as long as they are not the focus.
Early Christians literally risked their lives to preach the gospel so it is indeed disappointing that so many 'men and women of the cloth' consider their so-called safety more important than the Word.
Overly simplified but I think you get the point otherwise we could go on for days.
I should clarify. I think any indictments from Durham will come before Sep. 4th. But I still have a sneaking suspicion that we will see arrests soon after the election, and maybe even some on election day. This is based on my reading of Q, which could be wrong. I’ve been wrong before. But in one of the early Q posts he mentions Podesta being indicted on 11.3. Also mentions Huma being indicted on 11.6. I think Durham is just the opening salvo. But I think it will have a significant effect on the election.
This church ban is the perfect opportunity for them to play a part.
I'll say one more thing as an illustration.
In the book Shogun (which I think accurately depicts some aspects of history), the Catholic Church, Jesuits in particular, were in Japan when westerners first went there. They were political and power hungry, and were aiding Spain in their attempt to bring Japan into their sphere of influence.
There were also Fransiscan monks there, who were only in the business of converting the Japanese to Christianity. They did not have 'trappings' and tended their 'flocks' in threadbare robes and bare feet.
The Jesuits destroyed them, locking the monks up.
Anwyay, that was in Shogun. A great book, by the way and I highly recommend it.

I agree with your assessment of "memo status" but have an even tougher time taking the whole thing serious knowin' the crooked shrub down the road from me was just protecting the next derp in line. I tend to think Barr probably shares at least some of my opinion on that.

We all do it Marmolade. Not a big deal. I truly thought I had missed the connection so thankful it was a goof up. It takes people time to catch up through the threads remember. And sometimes we might come back hours later and respond before getting all caught up. Everyone needs to give each other some grace on that. Carry on.
There are some of those out there. I have noted that they are being fed to lions by their fellow pastors and denominational leadership. But there are a hand full following their calling anyway. If the derp media hears of them they are flayed, even on local conservative talk radio. But it's interesting to note that the media doesn't have a finger on the pulse of what happens in the Christian community. I hesitated to post about the gatherings in the city park 40 miles from me. I'd like this phenomenon we have going uninterrupted by media attention. People are noticing, that town's leadership is aware and we have no problems. They refer to it as our right of peaceful assembly. The only people that have worn a mask is a man currently going thru chemo and a lady who wore one only one time after she visited and nursed her dad who had the "dreaded virus." Respect for others thing. Hubby and I made it a point to go give that lady a hug. Lotta others did too. Just not letting the cursed bug stop what we're doing.
sidenote: stopped at a grocery store in that town this morning. Big store for the area. No corporate mandate like Wallyworld but the governor's unlawful mask decree applies there. All employees were masked but a lot of shoppers are still face free. I think it makes a difference that we've made the point of singing in the park. Kinda gives people courage to leave off the mask even tho the whole thing is word of mouth.

I think that's a mistake. I would welcome media attention, and maybe even encourage it. Having the courage to flout Caesar should be a visible example to all. And every cause needs it martyrs.

You have the right of it. The whole comment, I just don't like formatting the whole thing.
I can't speak for what's happening in CA and most other states. Heck, can't even speak for most of my state. But am aware of groups of Christians in 3 counties in here who have taken action. I don't see these things on anyone's geopolitical map of happenings but it's my hope and prayer that the church is waking up like this across the nation.
The Bible makes clear that fear is of the enemy. This gluttony of fear being thrust on the world is all about the spiritual enemy's control of God's creation. It's our job as the church to rise up and cast out that fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. Perfect love casts out all fear. It is past time that the church (people) in America rise up and do our job.
