Hi all, my daughter just went to urgent care and we are concerned it is COVID- she works in dental so constantly in people's mouths. I cannot find my list of supplements to treat it early. Can someone help me out please?
I think it was ZINC, quercetin, Vitamin D, Vitamin C nut not sure and can't find the amounts.
Thanks a bunch!!
He’s been great to follow on facebook. He also answers questions on the Texas A&M forum.

He’s conservative, so I trust what he says. I wear masks because he thinks they are helpful and should help open businesses. He’s not alarmist.
Quercetin is reputed to be a zinc ionophore which is the same role that hydroxychloroquine plays. If it is one then it allows zinc in your bloodstream to cross through cell membranes and interrupt the replication of the virus.
Quercetin and zinc would be the two essential factors. Depending upon your diet you may already have enough zinc in your bloodstream. You just need an ionophore so that the zinc can enter virus infected cells.

Great advice. I was going to say the same thing but you phrased it better.
Vitamin D, sleep, melatonin if you want it.
The important thing is rest. Take care of yourself!
I second the evms.edu protocol. Seems like the most authoritative I’ve found which might make it more palatable to people rather than just rando doctors on youtube.
Just bookmarked this. It’s important.
Highly recommended Lypospheric Vitamin C
Its like Vitamin C on steroids
EGCG (50% potency - NOW Foods)
Take one a day if feeling ill
Quercetin (NOW Foods)
We take one a day everyday
Zinc (Source Naturals OptiZinc)
We only take half a pill everyday because our multivitamin/multi mineral has some already.
NAC (Jarrow Sustain version (time release))
We take only if not feeling good.
Vitamin D (Costco 2000 IU)
We take one a day and get a little more in our multivitamin.
Vitamin C (Ester-C or Solaray Timed Release)
We take 1,000 mg total everyday.
Selenium (Healthy Origins Seleno Excell)
We take one a day.
Melatonin (Walmart Spring Valley brand)
We take a chewable 3 mg every evening.
Omega-3s (Walmart Spring Valley brand)
We take two Maximum Care 2000 mg capsules a day.
Take a normal multivitamin and multimineral. We take half a Costco brand multivitamin and take two Healthy Origins Chelated Multi Mineral (featuring Albion Minerals) capsules a day. Again, we do get other sources of vitamins and minerals and we dont need to get the Upper Tolerable Limit) on it all.
Get plenty of sleep and minimize carbs. Everyone should do well.
You can get all of the above from a combination of Walmart, Sams Club/Costco, Amazon, or Vitamin Shoppe.
Zinc Sulfate or Chloride or Aspartate, L Ascorbic Acid or Sodium Ascorbate, Activated Quercetin, Beta Glucan 1,3/1,6 from Bakers Yeast, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2, Melatonin, Proteolytic Enzymes, Magnesium Glycinate, Wormwood.
Also research Ivermectin.
Thanks for that list.
the swanson company also sells directly both on ebay and amazon, so you can get it right from them there
I use 7 drops of Iodine in a mixture, with trace minerals and zip fizz, which contains a crapload of vitamins.
Haven’t been sick in years. You can research iodine to get more info.
Bkmk
Theres been a lot of talk on FR about the bioflavanoid quercetin, but Ive actually seen more research on the bioflavanoid hesperidin. There have already been a variety of articles published about it as a preventative against and treatment for Covid-19, such as these:
https://www.mdpi.com/2227-9717/8/5/549
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32531538/

Beyond that, many recommend NAC, which is a precursor of glutathione. I think taking liposomal glutathione itself is better (although more expensive). Also, most people can tolerate much larger doses of liposomal vitamin C than regular ascorbic acid. Many people swear by high doses of vitamin C (although not zinc, as that can build up to dangerous levels and throw your copper levels off if you take too much).
Studies have been done about the effectiveness of elderberry against the flu, so its possible that might also help against Covid-19. The sugar-free versions are healthier of course. I know some people believe in using weak iodine in water solutions as nose sprays or gargles too, as iodine is a strong anti-microbial.
medicare approved?
[[Zinc any amount is probably good but take what you can tolerate without making you feel bad up to 40mg. You do not want to be Zinc deficient as it is how many drugs like HCQ work.]]
I think they say the zinc lozengers work better than the pills- Zinc apparently is hard to get into one’s system-
Forgot yogurt. Take the mushroom powder in a cup of yogurt, plain unsweetened whole milk yogurt, but non-fat is ok too. Trader Joe’s yogurt is the best on the planet. They move pallets a day, excellent quality without pectin, an ingredient used to stabilize the product during shipment. It makes it taste gummy, and is not necessary as it is better without it.
