PRESIDENT Donald Trump has a dramatically more enthusiastic voter fan base than Joe Biden, according to a new poll. But the presumptive Democratic nominee still leads, nationally, benefiting from a deep desire among his supporters to get Trump out of office.
The national survey, conducted by SSRS for CNN, found that 7 in 10 Trump voters are voting to reelect the president primarily because they support Trump, with 27% saying their decision is a vote against Biden. The former vice president, meanwhile, has a less-devoted following, with 37% of Biden voters saying they plan to cast a pro-Biden vote, and 60% saying they are casting a ballot against Trump.
Overall, the poll shows Biden with a commanding, 14-point lead over Trump, with Biden getting 55% support, compared to 41% for Trump. The advantage is bigger than in other national polls. (An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday has Biden ahead by 7 percentage points, 49% to 42%.) But the CNN survey is notable because it has Biden breaking the 50% mark – something Trump's 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton, failed to do during that campaign even when she was leading in national polls.
Still, the enthusiasm gap is potentially troubling for Biden, who early Saturday officially secured the number of delegates needed for the Democratic nomination. The former vice president has been hampered throughout his campaign by a lack of excitement among young voters, many of whom preferred progressive Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont in the primaries.
With the nation highly polarized along political lines, turnout can make a determinate difference in the election. In Michigan, for example, Clinton lost by just three-tenths of a percentage point (47.3% to 47%), and Democratic operatives grumbled that lower turnout from the party base made the difference.
And in 2012, it was the candidate with the higher enthusiasm among his base – former President Barack Obama – who prevailed. Polling by CNN that year showed that by the week of the election, 80% of Obama voters were motivated by reelecting the president, while 18% of them were casting a ballot against GOP candidate Mitt Romney.

Biden chooses a black woman as VP who doesn’t know squat but who has made a name for herself in racial politics. Then they cheat like hell, “win” the election, Biden exits office one way or another, and we end up with a BLM POTUS. If they also got the Congress we’re on the road to being Venezuela.
2. Adults instead of registered voters let alone likely voters.(only likely voters are relevant )
3. Twice as many non Hispanic minorities as is present in the population
4. Independents in addition to Republicans massively underrepresented.
5. Democrats massively over represented.
The CNN poll is a bloody joke.

Just yesterday (same day the CNN poll came out), Zogby came out with his own poll. The result? Trump and Biden were tied at 46% each which is in line with polls from non media sources.
There is simply NO WAY this CNN suppression poll is valid.
Betwet now and November, just ignore any poll from any media sources, ABC CNN NBC CBS FOX NYT WAPO etc.
Most polls are not great but the polls from Gallup Rasmussen Emerson and a few others are a heck of a lot better than from the polls from the media sources.
I doubt very many Trump supporters will instead vote for Biden, nor stay at home. Non-Trump supporting Republicans might not be enthusiastic but doubt many will vote for Biden—maybe one-third each to vote Trump, Biden, or not vote? And Democrats? I have to think that some will like his economic and jobs successes, others will vote Biden in lockstep. But what about Sanders’ supporters? I cannot imagine they are enthusiastic. Will they sit out the election or even vote for Trump? So many different groups. The media is working overtime to destroy Trump, which is the big wildcard. My wife reads from Yahoo and others, she has become rather hostile to Trump, sees him as bad, bad, bad. I doubt she could come up with one good thing he’s done and that is because of where she gets her news.
Okay, for disclosure, if Biden comes to Reno, I'll likely take my boys to go and watch. Heck, I remember going to see McGovern many, many years ago as an undergraduate. Was actually interesting to talk with him afterward.
When the average voter discovers how PITIFUL & SENILE that Joe Biden is NOW, his “support” & presumed “lead” will EVAPORATE like smoke in a strong wind.
He has the SAME symptoms of SENILITY as my mother did in her last year. - I recognize his condition all too well. He will lucky to see Christmas Day.

I read yesterday that he is starting his MAGA rallies in two weeks.
They do not need to drag anyone to the polls if they get mail-in ballots. They will fill them out on behalf of everyone who would normally not show up.

Every time I an reminded of polls that say Hillary would win in a landslide in 2016, I get a smile. Sometimes it lasts for hours. If I performed as poorly on my job as those pollsters I would be fired. They just keep getting paid to produce inaccurate polls.
There is no legitimate way Biden is ahead of Trump. Trump voters will walk across broken glass to vote for him. From the actions of the left with their mail in voting scheme, they are worried Biden’s voters won’t even leave the house to vote for him.
If America votes for a President who bends the knee to rioters and looters, the Russians and Chinese will start a war between themselves to figure out who gets to occupy how much of kneeling America.
Biden leading in the polls? I doubt it. All the conservatives I know hang up on pollsters or give them phony opinions.
