The killing of George Floyd has reverberated across the world, with protests reaching across the Atlantic.
Floyd died after a Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his neck for nine minutes. A video of the incident sparked national outrage. Chauvin has since been fired and charged with second-degree murder, an elevation from the original third-degree murder charge.
While many protests following his death remained peaceful, in cities like Minneapolis, Washington, D.C. and New York City, violence erupted and led to looting, vandalism and buildings set ablaze.
Violence consumed countless mom-and-pop businesses, many owned by minorities and immigrants, leaving behind a desert of small business, with little recourse but to plead for the public to donate to online fundraising campaigns. Insurance is not a panacea for destruction caused by looting in most of these cases.
Some have downplayed the looting and violence. Politicians, along with sympathetic members of the national media, lined up to apologize or justify the destruction. Seattle Councilmember Tammy Morales said “what I don’t want to hear is for our constituents to be told to be civil, not to be reactionary, to be told that looting doesn’t solve anything” at a council session Monday. Sally Kohn, a liberal political commentator, tweeted: “Property is insured and can be replaced. Lives cannot. Check your priorities, America.”
Do you know why minorities feel “harassed”?
Because liberal cities that have been run by Democrats for decades keep passing law after law in an attempt to micromanage everyone’s lives.
Laws against “loosies” (the sale of individual cigarettes) led to the death of Eric Garner in NYC.
Minorities often cannot afford a full pack of cigarettes because of the high taxes Democrats have levied upon them.
So, when an enterprising man buys a pack and sells them one at a time, making a profit, we should applaud. But because that extra profit is not taxed, the Democrats made it illegal.
The TRUTH is that minorities are harassed by Democrats.

The democrat controlled media delberate miss portraying the six foot seven inch 200 plus pound Floyd as an innocent black who was being forceably restrained because he was black.When He was arrested for passing a counterfeit $20 dollar bill he was resisting arrest and was a threat if not secured but the media was not mentioning his size or reporting that Floyd was removed from a squad car because he was acting up under the influence of drugs and also later was discovered to have COVID 19. Which suggests his physical condition may have led to his death which the media turned into a murder change and a charge of serious abuse by police because of police efforts that were tried to get him who under control. The results of politically induced miss reporting used earlier during and after the post Zimmmerman trial. Led to black gangs attacking non blacks found innocently traversing black neighborhoods and to a score of murders or life changing injuries and later attacks of theft and vandalism on local businesses as well as attacks and murders of police officers during that period

I've known a lot of Liberals who scorn Republicans as the party that wants to "control everything", but that bit of illogic is really impossible to sustain in the current environment. The first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, freed the slaves. Donald Trump is trying to do the same thing.
The politicians who helped promote the riots are responsible for the deaths.
White silence is complicity, kneeling, denouncing your white privilege while kneeling in front of blacks, shaving your head solidarity, we can see where this may lead, JUSTIFIED KILLING much like what the Muslims call honor killings or the blasphemous denunciation of Islam or Mohammed. We need the money trail and the key players found arrested or better yet taken out
