Jeff sessions is a huge disappointment. If he had any concern for the country he would not be running for Senate again thereby dividing the vote for a Republican in Alabama.
It’s a run-off. The winner will face Doug Jones in November. The pubbie vote will not be split.
FWIW, I don’t think Sessions has a prayer here.
A man like Sessions does not change his stripes.
He did the right thing once he was informed that there was an investigation underway.
If he had not, Trump would never have heard the end of criticism, and it would have become the main story of 2017.
Sessions inherited a wholly corrupt FBI and DOJ.
Sessions was the one who immediately recognized that Comey should be fired and recommended that to Trump, and Trump did so—almost four months later.
Sessions appointed Durham and Huber—they worked under the radar, and no one knew, because of the corrupt DOJ and FBI officials at the top. This will become the biggest story of 2020 and will exonerate Trump.
Who fired the corrupt top echelon of the FBI and DOJ? This started under Sessions.
Who started the prosecution of the child and sex trafficking rings? Sessions.
Who defended the Administration in the beginning under the withering fire of the Left and Dems in court on the immigration cases and rulings. Oh, that was Sessions.
Remember Rosenstein, that corrupt SOB?
He was approved by the Senate 94-6 as Deputy AG. That was because that was the Deep State’s man.
Sessions had been in the Senate for 20 years and BARELY got approved by his peers. Why? Because the Deep State knew he was honest and would come after their corrupt rear ends.
I don’t understand why Trump has this thing against Sessions.
And Tuberville, who is not a native Alabamian, thinks China is just peachy keen. And why being a college football coach and an ESPN analyst qualifies one for the US Senate is beyond me. Talk about someone being over their head.
At least Sessions did not bilk anyone out of their money. Look up John David Stroud and Tuberville.
Sessions looks meek and mild, but his nickname as the AG of Alabama was “The Silent Executioner”.
I love Trump, but he is not right on this one.
Even if Trump was right, he should not denigrate a man who served him faithfully, unlike many in his Administration who were found to be unfaithful and corrupt.
Q+ thanked Sessions for his service and said his sacrifices would never be forgotten. Q said about Sessions “sometimes you have to take one for the team”. All about the optics.
And yet, Sessions never once criticized Trump, because there were bigger fish to fry.
I would rather Trump stayed silent about Sessions and just endorsed whomever he wanted.
Sessions did not cause all of DC to gun after Trump. But he was a staunch ally of Trump when they did.
As for Bill Barr, let’s see some arrests on the tote board before we give him a medal.
