Big Brother is watching you and enabled by AI. I doubt they will be anything like foolproof - at least for non-cooperative subjects - for quite a few years.
If they don't work for non-cooperative subjects, they're useless for law enforcement. In fact worse than useless, because the bad guys will fool them, and good guys who happen to resemble the bad guys will get harassed, arrested, shot, etc.
I’m able to confuse the facial recognition system on my phone just by putting on a pair of glasses, or by displaying the horror of my face, first thing in the morning. I’m not sure how sophisticated is the current state of the art outside of laboratories.
I was just thinking on this the other day. The same government that has spent millions of dollars on facial recognition is now telling us to wear masks.
Yeah, pretty funny.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the government mandates that everyone must wear a mask or face arrest as potential carrier of deadly germs.
On Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the government mandates that no one may wear a mask because our facial recognition software has to keep track of you. People wearing masks will face arrest as potential criminals.
On Saturdays, the government mandates that everyone wear a full burkha because Allah is great.
These days are subject to change at the whim of your public servants.
Sort of like they taught us to cough into our elbows and then told us to bump elbows.
Wear a mask as requested by the feds.
Add thick glasses.
I’m thinking it’s poking fun or “topping”, women who put things in their bio like “mother of 6 cats”.

When I was young there was doubt about DNA matching... seems funny now....
An illegal device but ...... Most security systems are now wireless, run on the same frequencies as cellphones. A cellphone jammer willy block the signal while you are near the camera.
The advantage to a jammer is that you don’t have to dress like an idiot
Uh, I gotta wear a mask all the time due to being one of the highly susceptable folks. Or was that septic. Anyway.
Sure enough, it was true. This was the resolution at the time, and that was a while back. I have no doubt it is far better, but even that image is good enough I would think.
It gave me the creeps the more I thought about it. 
If that's the case, then so does any hair on the head. Okay ladies, shave 'em you poopy heads.
