That’s another problem with reopening that really has not been addressed. Let’s say a 50 year old owns a restaraunt. It’s been shutdown for a month. Its bleed out short term cash. The owner can declare bankruptcy and retire on his personal savings and retirement checks. Guaranteed more or less to have a decent retirement. Or he opens his restaraunt where a month later 2 employees are sick and 12 customers are sick. Now he is facing potential lawsuits from employees and customers. Why take that risk when you can see the government itself is not even providing proper PPE. And there is not proper PPE that I know of that allows eating.

My orders in my packet for my family are if I am vitamin D deficient then hammer me. If not and I am in a cytokine storm then dont. But I want a hammer of Vitamin C no matter what because I dont care what the studies say.
In fact, If I go the ER I am taking VItamin C with me in case they refuse to give it to me.
Not sure how that will work..if they will give me access to my belongings..but I am doing it anyway.

I thought that S. Korea, with its extensive testing and tracking regimen and its apparent mask mandate, was able to remain open, with the possible exception of Daegu, where the initial outbreak occurred.
The problem now is the law of exponential growth exerts itself once again, and our number of dead, per day, will rise again. The DFI is the percentage of total deaths we had whatever day the index is calculated for. Last night the DFI was 9.24.
That's 9.24% of over 26,000 total dead to date. And those new deaths are added to the total dead number, and the next day, another 9% or so die, and so on, and so on, until we break through this barrier all countries have experienced.
On the projection above, and all others, I used a DFI of 3, as our floor out of wishful thinking. Let's see how it goes, but somewhere between 6 - 9 is more likely going to be the US floor. And maybe why the projection above is and will be too low in coming days.
