If gates was involved, sterilization is the desired outcome.
Every single time.
Now imagine it never goes away OR she gets it again next year.
I am not saying you are wrong just thinking through the logistics and what a nightmare this is.
She’s currently being looked at for kidney damage.
She had excruciating mid/lower back pain for the last week she was actually sick.
Oddly enough, her husband didn’t have a really serious case at all.
I note that the gisanddata site has taken ‘recovered’ off the menu.
Good questions.
Because this is one that can turn on a dime.
This isn’t over yet.
If you own a now open restaurant, and your employees all come down with this, are they out of commission for 3 or 4 weeks? What does THAT do to your bottom line?
Invest in ServPro, or whoever decontaminates this stuff.
Another thought, what’s that do to your PR? You (well we probably aren’t a good test sample but you get what I am saying) going to Chipolte down the road when you hear have the staff was knocked out by CV?
half not have
Another good question.
The meat processing plants and warehouses shut down because whole lines are infected may become a real thing in every industry.
‘the new normal’.
and wait for the lawsuits over ‘i got infected at such and such because they made their employees work sick’...
*** Tell us how youll hoop it if you get a chance, Ive wanted to do that but havent had ideas for a while. ***
To hoop, I just put some rebar stakes in the ground at about 4 feet apart, then just put the 50” sides between. Then I have a hoop which is tall enough to walk under.
I plant my vining veggies along the sides. Cucumbers grow straight, as do my cucuzza, which are like a tromboncino squash, w/o the large end.
I love cattle panels. I built a greenhouse out of two several years ago. Fun project.

The difference is amazing in a crowded city like NYC where most people walk to the store rather than taking a car. No lines, no people, fast safe trip. Rain keeps everybody home.
But if social restrictions are eased for others before the right time, everything will become more dangerous for you even if you stay isolated. That’s why we have to think like a tribe now, not like an individual.
Also we have to realize we still have our freedoms. Let’s not lose them in an misguided attempt to keep them.
Not saying you are doing this. Other people are. They think this is the right time to rebel. It isn’t.
As long as ageism doesn’t continue disguised as an attempt to protect the vulnerable.
The temptation is always there to get rid of the old.
It’s a disgrace what is happening in our nursing homes. It’s like God is telling us “This isn’t the way you do it. Don’t stash them away like it’s a storage unit. Keep them in the family.”
All that you say is true.
Do I think April 30 is the right day to reopen? Honestly, I do not, it’s probably too soon.
That being said, it’s just my opinion, it doesn’t carry any weight. I don’t see any stopping it though, and I’m also not sure that it should be stopped. A lot of people want to do this, and it needs to be done at some point. It doesn’t seem like they can be deterred, so if it is going to happen, I’m just going to pray that it works.
Because if it doesn’t work... all sorts of hurt and pain will be coming our way.
We really are in a very precarious position, and President Trump carries the weight of every American soul on his shoulders. And it could be argued that he carries the weight of all souls on earth on his shoulders.
“The US spike kinda has me in down tonight. We had 6 days in a row where the numbers went down, so I suppose a spike was to be expected, sooner or later.”
It was a correction, not a change in the circumstances. It would be like adding 100 deaths per day over the last 37 days. Doesn’t change the trajectory either way.
Post Script on cattle panel hoops.I put a bungee cord across each end to make sure it gets used to it’s new shape.
I was going to add zinc picolinate to the list at $0.08, however the Nutricost version has been cleaned out with no estimate of restock. Interesting.
“Less people, but virus likes cool & damp, right?”
Rain will wash the particles out of the air. Humid, not so much.
Two things:
1. Trump is going to leave it to the states as much as possible. That means NY is staying locked down but other states aren’t, for example. That means it’s more likely to work because the people in states like NY know that they are more likely to get it.
2. The daily press conferences. When things change, he lets us know and makes a good case for his decision. The fights with the fake reporters make for a good show, so people watch these things. And don’t forget that he has an enormous following, despite all the venom we see at the pressers. Many people are following his advice, although the fighting always leads in the news.
Just go with the flow.
I have several friends who have had very mild cases of this. That’s the story that’s not being told—not until the testing is universal anyway. The horror is when someone gets an enormous dose of it, like from someone they have been living with. I’m making a few undocumented assumptions here but I think some of them will turn out to be valid.
“I note that the gisanddata site has taken recovered off the menu.”
They put it on a tab in the same panel as the deaths tally.
