The Port of Long Beach released their March numbers. Loaded inbound freight was down almost 8%. But the number of empty containers—those being repositioned for capacity were down about 11.9% year over year.
The empties number drop indicates a fall in the need for containers going to other ports. This translates into a shrunken capacity in the world wide market.
This does not bode well for plans for incoming freight.
China is NOT back online. The supply chain for the bulk of imports remains broken.

Sources tell me that Taiwan’s leader is asking for an apology from the WHO Puppet for claiming racism.
Short an apology (which they don’t expect), Taiwan is putting a package together to make a “Crimes against Humanity” claim (at the World Court) against the WHO Puppet for repeatedly NOT listening to Taiwan (starting in December) and instead parroting China throughout this pandemic.

I went to a measles party when I was 5. Parents would deliberately infect their children, all of them, as soon as they could. And as recommended by darn near every family doctor in the country.
Before about the age of 8, measles kills or permanently damages about 1/10,000.

With China providing many parts for US manufacturing if they were up and running, you would see more coming in. Thy would be fulfilling back orders.

I give Rush a break on that - I don’t know what the hell he was on at the time, but until Coronavirus, Rush was about 99% right on everything in my book - and I don’t know of ANYONE on our side who both understood the Left as he does, nor could communicate it to others nearly as well as he did. Not even Reagan.
