    Great music.
Home at last is my personal favorite.

Became a fan the first time I heard that tune and have been ever since.

Walter Becker rips this one. May he Rest In Peace.

“My Old School” was the only tune I really loved from that band. But I’m a classical music fanatic so what do I know?

Becker was a great player, but Elliott Randall played the solo.

Aja. In my opinion, this is their best album.

Came out when the biggest focus in my life was my (first) girlfriend.
When I paid attention to the lyrics, I thought “that’s not my experience” and “my girlfriend’s nothing like that.”
Turned out she was, we just hadn’t got to the “reelin’ in the years” phase of the relationship, which happened in 1974.

It definitely sounds the best, great album to wake the neighbors up with.

Some people just got the gift. Becker and Fagen had it in spades. They were a duo who made the frustrated musician in me envious, talent-wise. Good band.
