Yesterdays thread is here: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3831016/posts
I’m good for most every other spice. There aren’t many at our grocery and Wallyworld is hit and miss so try to keep lots in the pantry. It fell off the radar in lieu of more important items but still kicking myself. Good thing there’s plenty of canned chili and Summer is right around the corner.
that’s probably where I got the links at, that unroll is all the links I got from here, updated with some of your links, I believe, so that is why you recognize it :)
That is my twitter handle, by the way.
Did you see this one yet?
The Comprehensive Timeline of the CCP’s Cover-up of COVID-19 Pandemic(2)
In our last episode, we discussed what happened in December last year with the coronavirus, or CCP Virus, epidemic in China. We mentioned how, in the last few days in December, 3 different labs in China have all identified a SARS-like new virus, and reported this to both the hospitals and authorities. One researcher warned that a grave public health problem was looming.
Today lets continue to discuss what happened in January this year.

Hmmm, I wonder why the discrepancy.
Twitter is actually an excellent vehicle for customer service.
Hmmm...may have to join, again, for that....if nothing else :)
The Comprehensive Timeline of the CCP’s Cover-up of COVID-19 Pandemic (1)
The comprehensive timeline of the Chinse Communist Party (CCP) ‘s Cover-up of COVID-19 Pandemic
While the CCP is trying to rewrite history, we must straighten out the record first. It is not only helpful for our current battle against the most damaging disaster, but also much needed now and in the near future, when humankind tries to hold the CCP responsible for this disaster it imposed on mankind.
During the coronavirus pandemic, we learned, perhaps in a very bitter way, how our future and our fate depend on our current actions and decisions, and how important it is for us to have true, correct information to make correct decisions. Whether we have true information or not, will decide our fate and our future, both for our nations, and ourselves.
So I am hoping that I can bring forth some valuable and useful information and insights about China to the world. I do believe true information can save lives. That is the reason why I started this program. I hope you find it useful and helpful.

BRITISH ACTOR ADAM BOND
UK POLICY ON CORONAVIRUS DANGEROUS
... I Could Have Killed My Flatmate

The flickering lightbulb finally came on full flash when Campbell mentioned asymptomatic. Maybe that was China’s game plan. Send those around the world on purpose. Wonder if our bio labs would test on some level the difference between asymptomatic cases and those who have died.
Half a Zinc pill, 1 D w/ K pill, C from Tang or V8.
In this thread, where people come for solid info we need to make some clear distinctions on wearing masks, especially for younger and older people who do not quite get it.
No. 1: if you are wearing a mask because you are not infected and do not want to be, YOU MUST WEAR IT CORRECTLY. That means having fit your face properly, knowing how to take it on and off correctly, and for some masks how to disinfect it immediately after taking it off. Anything less than that offers you little protection and possible harm. If you touch your face to adjust your mask or pull it down to breath you blew it. Think of trying to train a child to follow infectious disease mask protocol. Good luck with that. Most people, who are not infected, will be safer not wearing masks and staying away from everyone. Unfortunately, if wearing masks decreases social distancing, more infections, not fewer will occur. This has been the debate in the CDC and elsewhere.
2. If you are infected, with symptoms or not, whether you know it or not, wearing a mask is good. Wearing anything over you face is good. Anything you do to slow, disperse, contain, partially contain your respiratory vapor is good.
So this is the dilemma. Because many may be asymptomatic, and because we dont know how many, everyone will have to assume they are infected and wear a mask. This will decrease respiratory vapor. But if all the other protocols of social distancing, hand washing, not touching face, sanitizing, etc. are not kept up the net gain may be a loss.
In sum, your mask offers you no increased security unless you know exactly how to do it correctly and you have a supply of approved N-95 masks. See https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/npptl/pdfs/UnderstandDifferenceInfographic-508.pdf
Having the infected wear masks is a good idea.
I agree that for many, perhaps even most folks wearing a mask will do little to increase their likelihood of infection.
However, it could reduce their viral load quite substantially, and in an imperfect world that is a victory worth winning.
correction—decrease their likelihood of infection
“I suggest everyone take a day away from this at least once a week....I took a half day yesterday”
It really does help. I’ve been trying to teach myself to machine quilt after 25 years of hand quilting, and that’s a good distraction. Add to that a background of ABBA, or binge watch a mindless TV series. It’s almost like “real life” for a few hours.
Being angry 24/7 is tough on a person.
IIRC it was over forty percent of them were in NYC a few days ago.
So that’s a bad trend for everywhere else given the rate of increase in cases in NYC.
Exodus NYC. Thanks, de Blasio.
“If you dont have a passport you cant get one now except for extreme emergency.”
So I guess a cruise on Princess should be postponed for a while? ;) (Aiming for one in 2021, though.)
Oh, yeah, you’re fine.
I don’t think “Mythbusters” is on any more, but it would be interesting if they’d do a segment on the effectiveness of face masks. The experiments they did on sneezing, and on toilet flushing, were informational.
“Maybe I am naive, but I am not seeing 2.0% of the population dying from the economy, sorry.”
Not yet.
Went to my neighbor’s house to watch the local news as we can’t get reception here and he’s on is own little plateau. He said the bank would only let him pull out $400 yesterday and said he’d be able to pull another $400 next week. First I’d heard of that. I had the wife hit the ATM a couple of days in a row for $500 each. Glad I did.
I gotta say, it’s a helluva time to be a prepper and be a step ahead of everyone else. Seeds running out, already got mine. Chicken hatcheries swamped, did that last Fall and they’ve given us 4 dozen eggs so far. Banks limiting cash, got some a couple of weeks ago. Stocked up on food a week before everyone else after seeing pics of Italy’s empty shelves.
“behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity”
I am interpreting that to mean that there’ll be a higher rate of Democrat fatalities.
