Apparently, he e-mailed the letter to over 20 other people. That’s close enough to leaking it. Very poor judgement. Since the actions he was requesting involved significant impact to the combat readiness of the ship, he would have been wise to classify the letter Confidential, and keep it off of the unclass network. I suspect they will track down the actual leaker.
I am keeping my tag line until I hear the words at a WH press briefing. :-)

I would suggest you slightly under estimated the incubation time maybe? If the world health leaders are say the peak is around April 15 you're graph should be pulled back a little and I do NOT expect death rates to go that high. Not with the death rates today.
DC gets tested early (some animals are more equal than others), so there are more mild cases. Also, as much as they pretend President Trump is wrong on everything, including quinine, the elitist insiders get quinine immediately. They know he is right. They just lie a lot.

You do understand that you are comparing apples (seasonal flu with no shutdown of economy) with oranges (CV with virtual shutdown of economy).
Tracking death rates while in the midst of an economic shutdown and many more open cases than resolved ones just does not make a whole lot of sense to me.
In addition, some parts of the US are in a virtual exponential growth rate while other parts (WA state, for example) have shown success with mitigation.
Sometimes numbers just don’t tell you much....

In the real world, “unknown” would just mean that the information was not reported. In California, it probably really means the patient cannot figure it out.
