Wondering if the stores are still out of tp and other paper products.
Wow...thank you for that detailed tp making process info.
My Charmin says Made in the USA.
I wonder if it’s just ‘finished’ in the USA...and...made with China components.
Hmmmm..
Imagine what China uses to make their pulp. Gross water/chems/etc.
Yikes....maybe I don’t wanna know :- /
TP in Roswell, but customers limited to two rolls.
Paper towles, hand sanitizer, and nitrile gloves
available, but sell out quickly.
There was a pallet of tp at the Aldi in Medina, MN today. So the times they are a changin’.
I did the same thing a few years back. Bought a case of tp in a cardboard box just for emergencies. When this current brouhaha is over, I will buy a brand new case.
Thanks to FR, I stocked up on food 2 weeks before the panic buying.
Would a Math genius please work out how long the shortage can persist. Does the human being reach a point where they have purchased so much that they stop buying? Or is it a case that ‘one years supply will be sold at current rate in 10 weeks.’ Just how long can it go on for before sanity returns? Or is there no end to human stupidity?
Cool. No Aldi near us, unfortunately.
There was no tp, ppr towels, kleenex at the Albuquerque Smith’s I went to yesterday morning. And if there were you could only buy one box of kleenex for example.
That’s great. Sure helps to read FR.
cheers
The nearest store ‘down the hill’ is stocked up as in everything. No difference. Of course most folks up here have been prepped for a LONG time regarding food, water, firearms, TP, ammo etc, etc, etc. Just 3 cases, (No deaths), of the virus confirmed between mine and the 4 nearest counties as of this afternoon. I’m more likely to get put down by DWD, (Deer Wasting Disease), or BBCJ, (Big Bear Claws/Jaws.), up here. Seriously. Stay safe FReepers!
Just yesterday we gave a large pack of TP to the couple who are painting our home here in IL....there still is none at the stores.
They were reduced to using paper towels, and they were running low on that.
My order went thru. Estimated delivery may 1 to may 24.
Down in Biloxi area, it sells out as fast as it shows up - some probably adding to their hoard-stashes and others finally getting a shot at it....and probably trying to build up their own stashes because of the original hoarders.
Bob’s Red Mill is running 24/7 to try to fill flour orders.
We were 2 days ago when I looked at Kroger. We still have 10 rolls at home and that was pre-Wuhan stock (Amazon).
Thanks for the laugh!
Hit or miss here in central NH.
I’ve gone ancient Roman and tied sea sponge to stick and dip it in a bucket of vinegar to clean myself. Those Romans knew what they were doing.
