“How many times have people told you “Have a nice day” when they would like to trip you as you walk away?”

Think just once, was that you? Say what you mean should be a rule.

FB comment 5: I am a MD, PhD, retired, widely published neurophysiological surgical pediatrician and I say that this graph is a lie!

May be.
I know the Governors need protection from interstate commerce legalities.

I’ve noticed a lot of rejoicing about the bad luck of others-—until something like the same thing happens to the rejoicers.

Why can’t the upstate NY doc treat this doc?

I get what you’re saying..why can’t any doc get this one into the trial...or, on the Plaquenil protocol.

Not sure why.

I excludes those who simply have a family to feed but otherwise it’s not a bad idea.

someone pointed out that two NY docs had been on the combo protocol and it did not work. So Weg may have tried it with same result

Wasn’t that in a Frank Capra movie?

No...sorry...that was Tarantino.

Blind Item #1
The mogul has an operation set up offshore where he tests prospective “shipmates.” If they test negative, he invites the legal in that country young men to come aboard his yacht for a couple of nights. After the two nights, they are sent on their way and a new group brought on board. One of those tests is going to be a false negative and the virus is going to sweep through that yacht like a cruise ship. Then we shall see how smug he is.

“Cuomo won the first round, it appears.”

We’ll know in 24 hrs.

It could be that trump rolled over them and told them what to do. Because the specter of the alternative was too daunting for them to consider.

This virus is also spread by touching an infected person.

Yes, talking to an infected person for 15 to 30 minutes also spreads the virus, but if you touch them, you’re sure to get the fomite exchange.

So don’t kiss your girlfriend until the 5 minute home tests are available!

Initial Investigation of Transmission of COVID-19 Among Crew Members During Quarantine of a Cruise Ship — Yokohama, Japan, February 2020

The crew dining area was identified as the primary area of congregation for the crew; passengers did not have access to this part of the ship. The earliest laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases in crew members occurred in food service workers; 15 of the 20 confirmed cases in crew members occurred among food service workers who prepared food for other crew members and passengers, and 16 of the 20 cases occurred among persons with cabins on deck 3, the deck on which the food service workers lived (Table).

How COVID-19 Spread from Passengers to Crew Aboard Cruise Ship

The report shows that the group of crew members who were most hard-hit were the ship’s food service workers, as they were in close contact with patients and with utensils and plates used by the passengers. Out of 1068 crew members on board, a total of 20 crew members tested positive for COVID-19; of those, 15 were food service workers. In total, some 6% of the ship’s 245 food service workers came down with the illness.

“you’re sure to get the fomite exchange”

There hasn’t even been plausible allusion to the virus penetrating the skin.

Why would you post such BS?

Just read an email message sent by Hospital exec to health care workers in Austin, TX. They are expecting a surge in patients over the next 3-4 weeks.

If ventilators run out, they will be allocated to those “most likely to benefit”. That means to younger, healthier patients. The old and sick will be left to die.

Hard reading the email.
