When I was forced to go to the Doc they did not have on masks.
I wore my n95,,wrapped a scarf around it....wore gloves. My glasses acted as make shift goggles. I have them but didnt wear goggles.
I made sure I am the first appointment to get in and out and have less germs all around.
Now for my stalker that reads all my posts and then lies about what I said...I did NOT wear a Tyvek suit.
I would freelance on the side. As a public service.
We wish you every success.

"... the idea is to have multiple cycles of two weeks of lockdown followed by four weeks of everybody back to work except seniors who stay locked up, until either an effective cure is found or herd immunity in the general population kicks in. That seemed to be the least bad solution."Churchill purportedly said, "Americans can be trusted to do the right thing after exhausting all other alternatives."
Mariner said in his No. 212 response:
"Its apparent hell be forced to adopt the federalist approach. But that sucks too.
ALL options really, really suck."
some options suck less than others
they have to get masks to the front line before they let the herd loose.
should provide it to the herd too. They dont have to buy them...just make sure they can be bought.
“I would freelance”
you’d be a case study. No freelancing allowed outside of a clinical environment.
Agreed.
It is kinda amusing that he is sending docs out there on a Unicorn hunt.
When the boss says “find me a Unicorn”, you go out there and look hard for one. ;-)
(I am _so_ happy I am retired, because I have been there and done that.)
2 Florida poll workers test positive for coronavirus, elections office urges in-person voters to seek medical advice RT USA News
by RT|Published 8 mins ago
Local officials in Florida have advised some residents who cast ballots in the states primary to see their doctors after two poll workers tested positive for Covid-19, despite authorities insisting there was no risk to voters.
The two election staffers manned separate polling stations in Broward County Floridas second largest, with some 2 million residents and were confirmed to carry the illness on Thursday, according to local authorities.
The Louisiana Department of Health has reported that a 17-year-old from New Orleans has died of coronavirus, the youngest fatality from the virus in the state.
The teenager is one of 18 deaths announced in the state on Wednesday, bringing the total to 83.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Governor John Bel Edwards said that an investigation into the teenagers death was ongoing.
It is unknown whether the individual had any underlying health conditions.
If the WH claims they found Unicorns, that is when you go deep into hibernation for a couple of months....no point in debating, just run and hide....
Because if you are infected, you should go to your Drs office? Thats not real smart is it?
15 or 21 million cell phones suddenly canceled.
At least 5,000 surplus bodies cremated every day for months.
40 extra incinerators moved to Wuhan.
Traffic still 1/5 normal in Wuhan.
But only 3-4,000 dead in all of China from this.
Right.
If the main effect of the virus is to cull the weak by kicking existing morbidities into high gear, then, yeah, they all died of something else.
In my book, though, if you died earlier than you otherwise would have, it was COVID-19, The Wuhanic Plague.
All these countries playing number games with this are culpable. Tell us the truth, tell us the real numbers, let us decide how we want to deal with it.
And if what the circumstantial evidence says happened in Wuhan is really what happened, the Chinese need to be held accountable for waging biological warfare on the world.
VIRGINIA A 66-year-old Virginia resident who fell ill with the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, on a trip to New Orleans died Wednesday morning at a hospital in Concord, North Carolina. The death of Landon Spradlin, an accomplished musician and a pastor, has drawn viral attention online, in part because earlier this month Spradlin questioned whether media coverage of the disease was overblown.

Picking up from yesterday's video rebutting the latest media campaign of "It's not going to be that bad" opinion pieces from 'experts', Chris investigates the cost of being wrong in these predictions.
This is important because government and health care response policies are being influenced by these experts.
If we pick the wrong policies, millions of lives and trillions in wealth are at stake.
Chris walks through the two main competing theories on the pandemic's projected impact and highlights the merits and shortcomings of each.
In his opinion, the logic underlying one is much stronger than the other.
In many very real ways, our destiny is tied to the path we choose. Here's hoping we choose wisely.

I think she should go home - it’s one state over and VA is going to be higher-risk than NC. People are running out of time to be with their loved ones. She can set up her own quarantine in the garage and run the gas station/pharm/grocery errands so her parents can stay home. She’s young enough to be good at disinfecting, so is lower risk going to stores than her parents, and can act as their advocate.
Thank you so much for Corona Virus Daily Thread Number 28!
