I was born in London, England; we moved to Southern California at eight years old (”take her to a warm climate,” the doctor said to my parents--I was always ill with colds and bronchitis).

We lived on the west side of Los Angeles where I went to school and then work.

I met and married a wonderful man, had 2 amazing kids, lived in Santa Monica for over 20 years, then we retired to Fort Myers, Florida. My twin sister and her husband moved to the Tampa area of Florida this year.

I'm glad to be in Florida, but I DO miss that wonderful Southern California weather (I never knew what humidity was till I moved to Florida!). I miss seeing the snow-capped mountains, but I DON’T miss the earthquakes!
