I don't normally discuss politics with most of you because it just upsets half the people I know. Many of you are going to be very upset with me for this. That is fine because it more important that you hear the truth then like me. What is going on in DC right now is incredibly dangerous. The level of out and out lying by US House Democrats about their objections to the Virus Relief bill is incredible. There IS no "$500 billion slush" fund, no "bailing out the rich at the expense of the workers" Those are marketing slogans designed to gin up an emotional response from you and conceal the truth. Corporations employ 10s of millions of people. Corporations are everything from your local Mom @ Pa gas station down the street to massive operations like Ford or Delta Airlines. Corporations have debt they have to play just like people. When they build a new store or plant, they borrow money to finance the capital expense. Those payments still have to be made even thought the Government shut them down or put a lock down on their customers. Here is an example. I work for a Food Manufacturing corporation that employs about 5,000 people nation wide. Due to the loss of business from the slow down, they just cut all Executive and Sr Management salaries 20%. If this goes one 2 more weeks, they will cut middle management salaries, if it goes on a month they have to cut all salaries. After that they start laying off worker bees like me and shutting down production lines. Why? Because they have to have the money to make their debt payments now and hope they can make it up to employees later. We are an Essential Business not shut down like the Airlines or the Car companies. The US, and the World, are on the brink of a financial crisis like nothing seen since the 1930s. People have got to stop playing politics and start taking this very seriously What the US House Democrats are currently doing is enormously dangerous to our future. It will not take much to trigger a massive credit crunch like what happened in 1929.. All the various things US House Democrats want to put in the Virus Relief bill have NOTHING at all to do with the fighting the economic effects of the Virus. Not one thing the Democrats want to add will help ordinary Americans one bit in this time of crisis. Democrats are playing politics to get a political wish list rammed through into law simply because they think they have us held hostage. They believe that we will have no choice to but accept what they are trying to ram through They think they have us over a barrel and can do what ever they want. Remember that in Nov when you go to vote. You need to put down your partisan rationalization and excuses. You need to stop just habitual cheering for "your team" You need to stop manufacturing false moral equivalence about politics and actually pay close attention to what is going on right now in DC. Beware of who you vote for. Pay attention to how they are voting NOW, Do not just listen to what they say, or put in their ads, during election season. May God Bless you all,, Good Luck, Stay Safe.

Rewrite this. I can't tell if you are saying that airlines snd car companies are essential or not.

Generally you would say "mom and pop" when talking about small businesses.
Also dump most of the mid-sentence capital letters unless they are proper nouns. Vee are not here German Speaking. :-) And most of the abbreviations need to be expanded like Sr and Nov.

You could also give a date range (IE from January 20, 1981 - January 20, 1989 was known as the Reagan Era)
But as a general rule of thumb you should not mix numbers and letters.
As with any general rule there might be exceptions.

In addition, as a test of how far your readers are actually getting through your thesis, every now and then include something like a sentence or two on an unrelated subject like Higgs bundles, the Hitchin moduli space, or Poisson geometry...{:-) Then you just count the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot replies both overall and per reader...
