What are families doing and what are plans during this odd time.
I am in house and keeping busy. Summer in the south.. already.
It Won’t Rain Always
Janet Paschal
Someone said that in each life some rain is bound to fall
And each one sheds his share of tears
And trouble troubles us all
But the hurt can’t hurt forever
And the tears are sure to dry
And it won’t rain always
The clouds will soon be gone
The sun that they’ve been hiding has been there all along
And it won’t rain always
God’s promises are true
The sun’s gonna shine in His own good time
And He will see you through
Lets stick with the positive threads, like this one, and give little energy to the negative ones. Doesnt change the outcome. It will be what it will be. Were being cautious and prudent, Pray mornings and evenings...and will continue to find any positives. Good to hear from you.
I get 4 days off on alternate weekends. There are lots of unconventional schedules in mining, since it runs 24-7-365.
A lot of the office staff is working from home, though.
Sometimes we need to rain to appreciate the sunshine
Ditto the fence build.
I was reading about it also.. gastrointestinal upsets and lack of appetite are also new on the list.
Yep.. ironic how people are connecting more being in isolation.
Good always comes out of bad. Stay well and God bless!
I’m considered “essential” since I work with the elderly, but other than that, I’m still cleaning the house out after my Father’s death in January.
Lol! My local laundromat closed!
Going to work as an installer until they tell me not to.
Can’t go to church. Don’t really have anywhere TO go. I think I’ll try to really relax this weekend.
When I left the house today, I’d thought about the possibility that the laundromat I usually go to might be closed, but I live in Rome, New York, a small city, and so I figured they’d be open...and they were. There was only myself and another women in it, and as I was leaving, a young guy came in with his laundry. I’ve lived here for 20 years, and although they have two washers and two stackable dryers, it’s easier for me to take my stuff out to my car, and do it all in an hour, and not have to go to the basement (I live on the third floor), to keep checking on the stuff. Their dryers suck here anyway.
One of my friends sent me a meme today with a house plan with dimensions with the caption looking at the map for some weekend travel ideas.
Today I put new brakes on my car
This Is

Getting on with normal stuff and avoiding the craziness and propaganda of the Marxist State Media Pimps and Whores. Doing my best to freak out climate change doomers filling up with $1 something gas.
Cleaned out the chest freezer yesterday and stocked it with fresh meat from Kroger.
Gave our Chihuahua a bath today.
Reading The Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan.
After that I plan to read the uncut version of The Stand by Stephen King. 1153 pages. That should keep me busy for awhile...
