I think opening windows would be good. Sunshine/vitamin D is supposed to help. Also, ccleaning the indoor environment would be even better with fresh air.
I would NOT do that if I lived next door to a hospital, however.

cbs just had a PSA with their stars about staying home
pretty sure I saw that chick who got into it with Mark Harmon...sure enough...she is on a new Series for CBS called
Broke
How a appropriate right now

The conundrum. Might not have our hump of the curve here in MO for another month. Taking two weeks off right now might not do a thing.

Agreed. They have become life blood.

You should be totally safe as long as your neighbors is home is more than six feet away.
Get out and enjoy your great weather—the sun is outstanding for your immune system.

It depends on where you live.
If Manhattan...I might worry about it.
If you have bums sleeping on your sidewalk..might worry about it.

Maybe too much competition for the virus to take hold.

“Im guessing putting a window unit a/c in a home isolation room (to keep the windows closed) would still circulate the virus to the yard and porch where kids and pets can bring in inside.”
Yea - it’s a tough call, and partly dependent on the wind outside.

Window units do not pull in outside air. They pull in room air through that filter on the front.

"Once the beds run out you will see people getting shot. No kidding."
Truckers say a lot of them are getting stopped up in the Northeast, their papers checked. I assume it's to prevent hijackings.

The rhinovirus is different than the corona virus. There are no ACE2 receptors in the
nasopharynx. ACE2 receptors are in the lower lunger allowing for replication and entry into the body.
Temperature has nothing to do with coronavirus replications except for the reduction in fomites on outside surfaces.

I wasn’t sure - I thought some had a fresh air option, and if so, they they’ll have a leak path.

“BREAKING: Italy reports 4,207 new cases of coronavirus and 475 new deaths, raising total to 35,713 cases and 2,978 dead”
It does make me wonder if that Mensa-babe here, along with her Mensa-husband, ever left for their Mediterranean Cruise that they had planned for late this month...after she told me to shove it because of my inferior intelligence, when I advised her not to go (about 3 weeks ago).
One bit of good news, though. The Dow has finally reached the halfway point in its drop due to Coronavirus.
