I suppose this could be considered a waste of time, but I thought it might be a good ongoing thread to track cases of the Corona virus that are directly or tangentially impacting Freepers.
We have 2 indirect contacts I know of so far.
please keep us informed how you are doing.....
They shutdown my son’s high school due to a student testing positive. He’s quarantined for the next two weeks while they sanitize the school. So far, that’s the only impact we’re dealing with.

The closest I’ve gotten is my son-in- suspected he had it. When they heard how much traveling he does in addition to his symptoms he was told to go down to Ventura,CA. for a test. He self quarantined until he got the results a little over 24 hours later...negative.

Pretty sure my husband had it back in January - just wasn’t tested & he recovered but slowly.
My daughter-in-law is a nurse in the infectious disease unit at Yale-New Haven hospital (the major hospital in Connecticut).
They had their first case Friday. She said it was like a war zone.

A growing viewpoint out there that may indeed have some validity:
The ChiComs have been lying about this from the get go.
It was out of control there in November. There were no travel restrictions. So likely it entered the country at that time.
Since in healthy people symptoms are generally sort of mild it likely infected millions of us without notice. So we’ve already been inoculated.
Though you are managing OK it seems, we will still keep you in our prayers; praying your system continues to manage the issue well.
My nephew in NYC has it. Say’s he feels like crap!
One of my employees was traveling in the UK when the SHTF. He returns today, and will be working remotely from home for at least two weeks.
Medical Dr husband of our female Sunday church pastor was exposed to someone who has it at an out of town medical conference. They are self quarantined right now. I then came up w/ some nomenclature to keep things in perspective
E-Exposed - Near someone who has the virus.
P-Positive - Tested positive, have the virus, not sick
S-Sick - These folks are ill.
H-Hospitalized - Real sick and in the hospital
EMS worker here. My upcoming Wednesday partner transported 2 suspected covid-19 patients yesterday. He’s waiting to hear back if either tested positive. As of now he is not quarantined. We have 10 cases at the hospital (Yale New Haven).
One case in my county, but no idea where exactly. Most likely near the northern border.
