I suppose this could be considered a waste of time, but I thought it might be a good ongoing thread to track cases of the Corona virus that are directly or tangentially impacting Freepers.
We have 2 indirect contacts I know of so far.
It’s real bad here. I had to drive around piles of corpses on the way to the Food Lion to get a roll of toilet paper. The stink was awful. Bags of lime and shovels are everywhere. It’s like the zombie apocalypse.

I have two more cases here all waiting on test results.
First one is my Sister’s daughter that works in a nursing home. Just just came down with pneumonia that started out as a cough. She tested negative for flu, now is waiting on Coronavirus test. My sister’s family is in quarantine now.
Second is the scary one since this is my wife’s friend next door. Wife (has a condition that makes extreme high risk) might have been exposed. Her friend thought she had the flu went to the doctor this morning.
Doctor diagnosis pneumonia with bronchial infection. They xrays of the lungs did not look good. She was negative for the flu test. They are testing for Covid 19. Results will be back in 4 to 7 days, the labs are back up. They are in quarantined at their house until the results come back. My wife just talk to her two days ago after I warn her not to go around her because she was sick.
Me I am breaking out a rum and coke tonight. Between work and home I am surrounded..

A guy who sits right outside my office has tested positive. He was last in my office on March 2, then was working offsite since.
Since you are the author of this thread, it would be really helpful if you keep a running tally (of people answering your post) of those tested and confirmed actual cases of Wuhan flu.
Then in another column, have the running tally of those with the ordinary flu. Every day or twice a day, you can posts those total numbers on this thread and keep it updated.
All of the shutdowns, panic, sudden unemployment, etc., are due to the Wuhan flu. So those numbers need to be kept separate from the ordinary flu numbers. Would be really good to see the comparison each day.

Update on my Sister’s daughter. Her test came back negative. They are now putting everybody at the nursing home where she works on testing every two to three days to ensure nobody spreads the virus there.
I guess nurses can get tested faster.
My wife’s friend no results yet.
