Ever think of using PERIODS
Nice...are you into farming as well?
My son in NH says that some of his friends are now saying *Hey, this homeschooling stuff isn’t as bad as I thought it would be*.
Gotta love it.

that Danbury Hospital, where the first COVID-19 case in CT was found, is at capacity and 200 nurses (!!) are furloughed because they have potentially been exposed to the virus.

I have been ranting on this subject about my home state for several days, but I did not know the numbers.
I wish I had never walked into that store, I just wanted some bananas I could have gone without the bananas and saved myself the absolute heartbreak I feel today!!!
It’s not just the media...
The administration is to blame too. I am not giving President Trump a pass on this anymore. At first I thought he and VP Pence were handling this quite well.
But after the State of Emergency declaration which seemed to give these governors the blind go ahead to be assholes....no more.
The mass homelessness and further economic destruction coming is on President Trump’s head.
Very true.
At 66, you’re a spring chicken :)
personally, I don’t want to see any children in the grocery stores right now, germ-ridden little curtain climbers. In Calif, some 70% are on free school lunch and so will get 3-day, 3-meal packs, or whatever arrangement their district figures out. They’re not going to starve by any means.
There’s an irrational hoarding surplus in America, not a food shortage. But the hoarding surplus is affecting seniors ability to obtain food and stay safe when shopping. Seniors that may not have the capacity to garden or raise livestock. Who may not have family or a private shopper.
Grocers, rightly so, are thinking of their regulars, who may have SS as their only income. Who can’t afford to go to the store every day. Who don’t need the stress of not being able to find a loaf of bread or a pkg of hamburger on their single weekly trip or being elbowed out of the way. I posted a few days ago that Mr BP helped a disabled lady who was being pushed out of the way reach for some lettuce - and some 30something tried to grab the bag from Mr. BP!! It’s complete nonsense.
Seniors will have to abide by the same rationing as in place now (2 eggs, 2 milk, 2 tp, etc), they’ll just be able to shop without the profiteer buyers and snowflake clue-less hysteria that have overtaken the stores.
Most of all, I like the message it sends: Seniors are important in our society and we need to look out for them instead of pushing them out of the way.
I support senior hours 100%

Trump Girl:
You are _not_ allowed to panic until we say it is ok to panic.
It is _not_ ok to panic.
I kill everything I plant absolutely do not have the talent sure wish I did!!
Did you not realize what you would walk into?
Have you been under a rock for the past week?
Walmart.com is out of flour. All wheat flour. There are 4 bags (or were) supposedly available at the one closest to us as of this afternoon.
Needless to say, all 200 Danbury CT nurses need to be tested _stat_, and if they are negative, they need to go back to work.
This is _not_ rocket science. :-(
If only she’d been the one wearing the Chelsea scarf, she wouldn’t have had to take the Tylenol.
The hot toddy dude had more fun.
A lot of diseases do that.
They should have anticipated that.

“but Americans are still allowed in”
If I was Canada I would close my borders to Americans too. We have a virus bomb about to blow.
I am in no way panicked I am more afraid at what is happening to our country over a damned flu like virus, I have NEVER in life seen my fellow Americans behave in this way and it s heartbreaking!! I have NEVER seen a grocery store EVER look this way in this country it is heartbreaking that our population doesnt have enough courage to face a damn flu like virus without this utter panic!!! OMG we had very young men storming the beaches of Normandy and NOW they are storming the toilet paper isles!!!
Thanks ours is in August and hoping it is not going to be cancelled.
