Here’s new data from NY Dept. of Health we’re using to determine how to allocate resources: Cohort of 240 #coronavirus cases; 1/4 were hospitalized. Of those 60% went to ICU, 44% required a ventilator. Factors associated with severe disease: age > 50, diabetes, COPD, HTN, asthma.

I am getting indications that some sort of federally enforced quarantine or travel ban is under preparation, possibly enforced by a ban on vehicle fuel sales to unauthorized people and companies. There was no word on whether this would have national, regional, or state by state effect. A two month period is allegedly under consideration.

So keep your vehicles at least half full.

Folks are likely to dismiss it without some good stated reason to believe it.

Sorry, but the sources are confidential. If it’s real, we should see more verifiable stories in a few days. Anything pertaining to federal restrictions on gasoline sales is hard to keep secret for long.
