I feel so much for you, Trump Girl. My heart also breaks,seeing these same things. My parents fled Cuba so that we would not have to grow up in this. We’re being told this is just temporary and necessary. But I can’t help but believe we have left the world we knew behind, and this is not temporary.
First of all seniors are just not like that they are not the ME, ME, ME generation AND they are also on very fixed incomes so they are not going to hoard anything!! They should be going into the stores when they are clean before everybody gets in and spreads their germs around!!
Do t we just flip the switch to “On” and pick up where we left off?
As has been discussed in this thread, we may have shortages of items made in China for now, but toilet paper is made in America!
The folks freaked out about toilet paper did not know that. :-)

So our entire Spring Run has been cancelled with no income until June when the Eldorado County Fair takes place (hopefully)
Luckily, after bills, we have $50 a week for the next three months.

Well, part of the way they are behaving is the government’s fault. I know many here say it is the media, but honestly it is the government’s fault.
Between them both they’ve scared the American people beyond belief and it isn’t over yet. It is going to get worse.
I for one am a low income independent contractor. And there’s no work right now thanks to the government’s behavior...not the media.
I stocked weeks before and even have a little saved to pay bills next month, but now they are saying 5 months of this ...I will lose everything. I am too old to manage an Amazon warehouse job I will kill myself trying to keep up and they are shutting everything else down.
And the worst happened tonight...my coffee pot died. LOL.

Singapore has tracked every single person who tested positive. Large Church gatherings and a big family gathering of 100 people accounted for most of the cases. Fascinating to read the details. Individuals with flu like symptoms went to their doctor or clinic 2 or 3 times before testing positive. Imagine that. And yet, the spread in Singapore is not out of control. Fascinating.
