We forgot to shut the world down in 2009 when 1000 Americans were dead of H1N1. I remember because I was at US 495 and Metropolitan Ave in Queens when I got the radio report of the declared emergency. I looked around at the 100,000 or so people near me and wondered what would happen if this thing spreads. What should we do?
