Yes, I noted Trump agreeing with people staying home in last few days. He’s steering in the direction that the governors are now acting on. If nothing else, note that he is not criticizing it, not dismissing it. That says a lot.

Why do I feel this outbreak is allowing the government to switch over to socialism without a shot being fired? These restrictions are all indefinite and draconian. I don’t mean to sound alarmist but this is not a move I would praise. Reducing freedoms in this country which we didn’t do for the flu or Ebola is scary.
The elderly more vulnerable public are typically the stay at home variety by reason of their age. The exception being the better off boomers jetsetting or going on cruises will probably have to alter lifestyle a little. Myself (70) and wife (68) are at the age staying home has been the preference for years already. If anything having to drive into town 6 miles to pick thru empty stores more often than usual is the extent of my vicarious lifestyle this past week.
The stay at home edict will impact the gen-x/y/z kids because they seem to always be on the go unless they're on the x-box. The school closures and need for parenting (probably get dumped on the grandparents more likely) will be their cross to bear and surely we'll all hear about it.
There is only sketchy information in the article about pre-existing conditions. He is referred to as “healthy and never sick” in passing, but those are not by medical professionals. He could have anything. No info in the article.
