First, let me say I am more than pleased in how my chemo and radiation treatments have been going. No nausea at all from the chemo and outside the pain from the arthritis in my shoulders holding my arms over my head for 15 to 20 minutes during radiation, I am not suffering much at all. Oh, I am down in the dumps at times and have fatigue to the max. I am sleeping about 16 hours a day.
All in all, the whole experience has been much better than I ever expected and all thanks to you all who gave me their prayers and support. I am so thankful to y'all!
Now, back at the ranch-- Coronavirus Insanity is real! The drive by media and the DemocRATS, never letting a crisis go to waste, are trying with all their might to kick fear into hyper-drive against President Trump and the Republicans and a part of it has hit close to home--
Hell, it has hit home right here in Corsicana, Texas, 56 miles south of Big D.
I went out for my last radiation treatment for the week at noon and then went down to the local HEB Grocery to get some milk. Now, granted, I have not been out and about much other than to get my chemo and radiation treatment, but as I drove up to HEB the parking lot was crammed to the brim.
Finally finding a parking spot, I made it inside and found an empty handicap cart and entered a land of folks filling grocery carts to the brim. Oh, I was able to get milk, yet I found there was not a roll of toilet paper to be found. Just a whole wall of empty racks where it should be stocked. Nor was there any hand sanitizer either. And thinking of my need to use distilled water in my COPD unit I went to get a couple of gallon jugs. Yep, the water section was just as empty as the toiler paper area.
I waited in line for nearly 20 minutes to pay for my milk and a couple of other things and then went down the street to Brookshires' discount brand grocery and found they were also out of water, too.
I realized I had several extra distilled jugs at home, so I figure I'll try again early in the morning when the trucks make their grocery deliveries. Getting home, I took the two distilled jugs I used as drinking water out of the fridge to save for my COPD. I filled up four empty jugs with water from the sink faucet and put them in the fridge for drinking.
Thank you for the update good sir.
Glad you are feeling a little better, even though you are indeed tired. Please do keep check on that temperature though, and we will keep the prayers lifting ;)
Rest and stay safe.

Gotta go thru it to get thru it. Prayers up.
Hope the aches and pains subside quickly, and stay away. Have a good weekend. I’ll be praying for you.
Hang in there, bendy.
Thanks - just sent another prayer up for you....
Lord God, give strength to Thy servant Danny.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
Keep hanging in there! My prayers are with you.
Dear Bender!
You’ll get through this, we’re all pulling for you.
I had/have bad acid reflex, food kept getting stuck and it started causing back pain and I finally had to do something about it. How is the Omeprazole treating you? After a few days on that suddenly I could eat without washing the food down for the first time in a long while!
I went to Walmart yesterday, I hope it I didn’t bring back some microbial friends. My dad wanted vanilla ice cream, there was ONE tub left. Lots of weird flavors still available.
I was okayed to resume radiation yesterday and it was really a chore as my lower back was acting up enough on its own to make my residing on my back in the atomic atomizer machine for about 20-25 minute a real effort. I hope today's goes better--
I also resume chemo today, so knock on wood, campers. Maybe I will still be nausea and chemo side effects free.
Again my many thanks for all y'all for your prayers and support. Wish I could give each and every one of y'all a big hug! From 6 feet away, that is--
Take care and God Bless,
Danny
FATHER GOD,
Thank You for strengthening Bender2 and increasing his white blood count. We stand on GOD’S Promise, “By JESUS’ stripes we are healed” and declare him cancer free. Who the SON sets free is free indeed!
May Bender2 immerse himself in the WORD and draw close to You. Make him nausea and chemo side effects free. Give him a special blessing today that can only come from You.
Thank You for Your great love for us. Praise Your glorious Name.
In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.
That is great to hear.
None of it is easy, but good news is always good.
Still praying for you.
Father, keep Danny strong and able to manage these treatments, and heal him from this cancer.

Knocking on wood here. :) God bless you, Danny!
April Fool's update-- No joke, those shots worked and while the past week's aches and pains while feeling more than lousy side effects were not pleasant at all, it seems they have gone away but did the job of raising my white blood count. That is according to my blood work lab Tuesday.
