About two or three days ago (who can keep track?) Boris
went from braggadocio to stone cold sober. I think somebody
corrected all his happy talk about herd immunity and such.

It looks good that they’re doing it though.
If I had to guess, I’d guess he and Pence are probably on antivirals prophylactically unless otherwise contraindicated.

Just saw FL strawberries in the store. Almost growing season in many places. The US has plenty of beef, pork and chicken producers. If the cattle guys here knew people in St Louis or KC were starving, they would start processing cattle and delivering it. Hunters here donate thousands of pounds of venison to the food banks every year. It’ll be alright. Cali might devolve into a third world hellhole for real.

Lots of people garden every year and most everybody knows how if they need to. One reason I bought extra seeds this year. Just. In. Case. I save seeds anyways. If they’re not needed, I’ll keep them in the freezer with all the seeds I’ve saved. They last decades in there.

North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is reporting 23 cases of coronavirus across the state.
Friday afternoon, health officials reported there were 15 cases in North Carolina, but overnight Channel 9 learned about new cases in Harnett, Brunswick, Wayne and Wake County. These new cases brought the total number to 19.
Authorities have not released information about the other four new cases.

Popular grocery chain Harris Teeter has announced it will be closing stores at 9 p.m. because of ongoing coronavirus concerns.
In a post on Twitter, the company said they are closing early to focus on cleaning the stores, restocking items and the health and well-being of the employees.
This will go into effect on Sunday.

The patient was on supplemental O2 and IV vancomycin for pneumonia. Pneumonia got worse.
They gave him the gilead drug one evening and the next day he was off supplemental O2 altogether and pneumonia was mostly gone (gone?).
Literally overnight.
