The patient was on supplemental O2 and IV vancomycin for pneumonia. Pneumonia got worse.
They gave him the gilead drug one evening and the next day he was off supplemental O2 altogether and pneumonia was mostly gone (gone?).
Literally overnight.
OK—so why won’t CDC make the claim, or even hint that the patient was cured by the treatment?
Are they trying this on others?
