I believe you....even the young men renting next door were talking about the virus and what they needed to get. So I suspect as the weekend draws near this pace will get even busier...and to be expected.
BTW...test your themometers. I gave mine a trial run and found it wasn’t working, stores are already running out of them.
Hubby is VERY frustrated w/POTUS, over the *response* to this virus.
Lack of masks, testing kits (REALLY mad, about this), meds shortage, how he kept downplaying....it’s just the flu!, for a long time...comes home every evening venting about this one....wanted more honesty/tranperancy, from get go, on this thing.
But, will this change his vote, come November? No way.
On a good note, a lot of poor people just got or are about to get a four digit income tax refund/gift. That should help the level headed ones who didn’t or won’t blow it on a big screen TV or worse.

FDH says the new cases are:
A 73-year old male in Palm Beach County has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual is isolated and will continue to remain isolated until cleared by public health officials. This is a travel related case and is associated with a Nile River Cruise/Tour in Egypt.
A 74-year old male in Palm Beach County has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual is isolated and will continue to remain isolated until cleared by public health officials. This is a travel related case and is associated with travel to Europe.
A 50-year old male New York resident who is currently in Sarasota County has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual is isolated and will continue to remain isolated until cleared by public health officials. It is currently unclear whether this was a travel-related case; the epidemiological investigation is ongoing.
A 70-year old male Massachusetts resident in Sarasota County has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual is isolated and will continue to remain isolated until cleared by public health officials. It is currently unclear whether this was a travel-related case; the epidemiological investigation is ongoing.

The harder they flubro the more likely that is to happen.
UNprepared people will blame trump every single time.
When people realize it’s not just a regular head cold for some the betrayal will be extreme.
This is an either or virus. Either it’s mild or it tries to kill you.
And not just the elderly. They die because they’re old. there are a LOT of 40 and 50 somethings who have to be intubated and put on a ventilator to make it through this. Regular head colds don’t do that.
And remember, not every flubro is a right wing American. Some are foreigners, some are lefties who would LOVE for most old Trump voters to shuffle off the mortal coil (ie the rollcons). Some were long in the market and are getting their behinds handed to them. I feel for them but the market is never a sure thing.
Don’t know what to say about the taxi drivers and such. Ripple effects will be felt for a long long time. The supply chain ones too.
The best thing you can do is be prepared for 4 to 6 weeks IF you can.
We upped our 2 or 3 weeks to 6 weeks when this rolled along.
Normally we up it to 3 or 4 around ‘cane season.
But with all the crazy on the left and now China blaming US for the virus I expect all manner of shenanigans before and after the elections in Nov.
I DO entertain the idea from time to time that the DS did this on purpose. It’s really a governmental kobayashi/maru. Ignore it and your hospital/medical system collapses, try to stop it and crash the economy. There’s really a no win for Trump with this. He’ll just have to do the best he can and we will just have to support him. It’s not like there’s a viable alternative in either party (for decades even).

The number of COVID-19 cases in Korea continued the slower pace of increase, coming to 7,979 at midnight Friday, rising 110 from the same time a day earlier.

Thursday also saw 177 people being released from isolation, pushing up the number of those deemed clear of the virus to 510.
During the course of Thursday, one more patient died from the illness, pushing the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 67, according to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Supplies and meds shortage is due to things that occurred pre-Trump and he’s not personally making test kits. There’s not a whole lot of companies making reagents and demand is quite high right now. The downside of not being one of the first countries hit hard is that those countries already bought everything up.
