YOu can’t really do ‘a little’ social distancing. It has to be all or it isn’t going to buy you really any time.
Just remember the mini depression of 1919/20 was followed by the roaring 20’s.
We should REALLY invest in more antiviral programs. Vaccine development is an iffy thing for these ‘popup’ viruses. Society can’t ‘wait’ a year or even 6 months for a vaccine. An antiviral program that had a large bench would be something that might enable continuity of society without these sinkholes in the middle of the highway.
Testing teams is just smart because of their contact and close proximity to each other (sweat etc) as well as their travels to one event after another where they have contact with fans.

The timeline they present certainly makes much more sense than the ‘official’ timeline. In the article, the first case was Nov. 17, and then they talk about its progression through early January.
One thing to note, the time between the first infection and all hell breaking loose was about 2 months. In Seattle, it has now been just about 2 months since the first infection...
Thank you Rummy I don’t like to be characterized as a flu bro just because I think some actions are over the top. I am seeing real suffering from this close up and first hand. It is my two cents.

A sixth potential case of coronavirus was reported in Orange County as officials Thursday prepare a plan to shift employees to work from home as much as possible.
The sixth presumptive case, reported Wednesday, involved a woman who is at least 65 years old, believed to have contracted it while traveling, but that has not yet been confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The county now has two presumptive cases and four confirmed cases. Three men have been confirmed as having the disease, and one woman.
