University of Washington (Seattle campus)—student tested positive—Lookner
Little blue pill?
I’d believe it. Remember the granddaughter interview where she was convinced her grandmother died of corona and insisted a postmortem test, but they wrote it down as pneumonia?
and this young british man, says that he was hospitalized in late November, meaning he had to have been infected right after mid-November - and this is a very recent clip:

student was resident of student dorm...ouch.

Lookner—more metro Seattle—Nintendo employee tested positive—had contact with other Nintendo workers
With it’s long dormancy, not unreasonable they didn’t catch it until much later.
I don’t blame them for being sloe.
But from mid-December on they covered it up- and I do blame them for that.
Nintendo is in Redmond (east of Seattle).
Liberal logic 101:
Swine flu: Obama is a genius & perfect!
- 60,000,000+ cases
- 275,000 Hospitalizations
- 12,000+ Killed
(in America)
CHINA VIRUS: Trump is an idiot & killing us all!
- 1,400 cases
- ? Hospitalized
- 39 Killed
I do understand that corona is on top of the usual.
I know people who lost their jobs today because of this. They are poor people.
I am not saying they should die of cv instead.
I am just saying this is overkill in my opinion. We lose homes, cars, insurance, etc very quickly at this rate. Very damaging to our health and Im starting to think its worse than the cv at this point.
I am not a flu bro. I have followed these threads since the beginning. Ive supported things like high risk sheltering, prep of more icu rooms.
I understand the curve etc. I also saw a man fired today due to lack of taxi business. He told me all the mechanics have been cut back too. This is also happening on a large and exponential scale and should not be excused as all necessary. I dont believe its all necessary. Some, yes.
I've been keeping my finger on the ‘panic pulse’ in my area and noted today the pace to ‘get ready’ was up. I think the Presidents speech to the nation on prime time this week had peoples attention and therefore shoppers and traffic was unusually busy today. And there has been zero cases of the virus here so far.
Clerks commented how busy they were, and the Pharmacy people had to bring in more clerks for the days shifts. She said it was 'crazy busy' with people filling perscriptions...
I could not find any Pharmacy or Box stores that had any themometers left after calling .... But found 'Ollies' had a full rack plus. A store similiar to Big Lots. Wal-mart here was out of toilet paper with people telling other people where they could still find it at other stores.
I also noted a lot of elderly people shopping alone...I didn't see panic but people were definately on a mission to get prepared.

LOS ANGELES
As the novel coronavirus spreads, Councilmember Mike Bonin has announced hygiene services at many homeless encampments around Venice.
On Wednesday, the City began installing more than 40 handwashing stations (providing more than 80 washbasins) at Westside encampments.
Additionally, on Monday, two of the largest encampments in District 11 at Third Avenue in Venice and underneath the 405 at Venice Boulevard in Mar Vista will begin to receive mobile toilet service daily, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Weekly mobile shower service and daily litter removal will also be provided.
My wife just came back from her CVS shift (N. CT).
_Very_ busy for a Thursday night. Folks buying everything in sight. The regular locals plus a bunch of people she had never seen before.
This has been a big factor for me
I have felt for a long time that the repercussions would be severe
A lot of low earners effected. Think of all the NBA low pay people that work at those arenas. OUt of job.
so many cascading problems
CHINA VIRUS: Trump is an idiot & killing us all!

Los Angeles Union Rescue Mission, which has beds for about 1,200 men, women and children at its 24 shelters, has turned its gymnasium into a quarantine zone for unsheltered people to go if they have a fever or other symptoms linked to COVID-19.
Somebody who gets this and is alone on the streets will really suffer, said Union Rescue Mission Chief Executive Officer Andy Bales.
The shelter has also stepped up cleaning efforts to nine times a day and added hot-water hand washing stations outside of its buildings.
San Francisco officials this week said the city would set up recreational vehicles and other temporary housing to isolate homeless people with potential exposure to the virus.
