And using an O-1 birddog standing in for an L-4.I was 8 years old when that flick came out and spotted that glaring screw up right off.

I never pay for movie tickets. I have several free passes which we get at work for years. Gotta pay for the popcorn and other stuff though.

I agree with you regarding Pitt. I think he might be one of the closet conservatives of Hollywood and crap he spouts is a put on.

The last Star Wars was a masterpiece compared to the POS that was “Star Wars 8: The Last Ripoff”. Of course, that’s setting the bar pretty low.

You, as a technical advisor, would have been much better than who they had. You knew your stuff at 8 years old.

I recommend Warsaw 44, the Polish movie about the 1944 Warsaw Uprising.

Oh surely now, everyone loves green milk,
And seeing their childhood heroes turned into pathetic cowards afraid of their own shadows, broken and disillusioned. Defeated, with nothing but their own bad attitudes to comfort them. Light saber fights between ambiguously good or bad people, although it doesn't matter who wins or loses, is all that matters anyway.
To: JonPreston
Oh, I thought you’d seen it. Well, it probably can’t hurt to give it a rent. The reviews tying it to President Trump were not very coherent. I do know it’s set in the ‘50s or ‘60s.

Surf Nazis?
Can you give us a brief overview of the movie? Surf Nazis Must Die!
It's right up there with "Class of Nuke 'Em High".

May I recommend “The Death of Stalin” outstanding black humor from diary entries of the politburo, and Nikita Kruschev. Great cast, very funny poking fun at soviet commies, and the perverted Beria, who gets his.

Actually, the Hessler character complains bitterly to OKW about how the Malmedy massacre will make his job more difficult:
“It will turn a demoralized mob into AVENGING SOLDIERS!!”
Das Panzerlied, a real song, led off the film with the young German tankers (black was the color of armor as well as the SS) assuring Hessler of their fighting spirit.
At the end, the panzer’s crew has already fled when Hessler personally takes the controls. Unless you’re in mud, it’s pretty hard to mire a tracked vehicle; they probably had that tank anchored.
Anyway, it was fun. Hard to figure out how Hitler’s defeated legions found themselves in the middle of the arid regions of Spain.

Yeah, The Death of Stalin, played a little fast and loose with history, but still it was a great movie.
