They work very well. I also cycle ozone and use UVC plug ins.

“Yes...[dark] chocolate and red wine. Basic provisions....right?”

Here in WA, picked up a quarter pound of milk chocolate and a gram of indica.

I was just talking to an elderly neighbor - she was saying how it isn’t all that bad for the kids so they should just keep the schools open.

“Yeah - but they still get it, even if they don’t get that sick, or don’t get sick at all they still have it. Then they bring it back to mom and dad and the grandparents.”

He must have missed the stories of lung transplants in China. That was big news just 3 days ago.

” Going to do a generator test run this weekend. “

Lucked out. Had my eye on a 10,000 watt dual fuel generator at Home Depot for the last six months but felt it was priced a bit too high. Then, last Saturday night I happened to look it up online and it was $300 off but only ‘til midnight. Purchased it and it is waiting for me at the Hermiston, Oregon HD right now. This particular model has an idle-switch which is rare at this product tier and more positive reviews than is typical.

I had been thinking about getting some for quite a while. Just got Germ Guardian in today-for the bathroom and bedroom.

It’s 3 in 1 Hepa, Charcoal, and UV-C light. Figured I’d try it and see. Might get something larger for the family room.

I have a couple of ozone cleaners for my CPAP that can also be used for other things-but not a room.

It’s called Spreading False Rumor. We cannot have any of that, but the feds can deny us test kits that we paid for. So when are they going to cutoff this site for Spreading False Rumor, I wonder.

Thanks for making me notice post 688.

I was trying to get my 25 year-old son to take this more seriously. He has done some stuff to prepare, but seems more dismissive of it than not. He brings up our better healthcare than China, etc.

I agree - to a point. But it ends up becoming a numbers game and not so much how “great” our healthcare system is or our response. The virus doesn’t care - it will continue to infect exponentially - and at some point has a very high likely-hood of overwhelming the system.

I started serious buying of stuff on January 24th. I had a bunch of N95 masks already but bought a few more boxes. My son also bought a box of ten for himself about that time - I was surprised when he told me that. I bought a whole bunch more stuff too. Much of it on the recommendations of freepers. It has worked out well so far. But need to get a better system in place, and make some room for decon in the garage.

Triage.

That probably won’t happen here. So worse things will.

Everyone should have enough for a possible quarantine period. More than that is probably unnecessary hoarding.

It does work. I have two rooms that I'm safe in. They call it late onset asthma. When I travel I don't have a problem. I have been allergic to cats and dust my entire life. I learned quickly the triggers. Even some strange things like calcium chlorite and grill smoke were a problem.

I just wish the filters were less expensive.

Best.

I’m awaiting a test of co-worker. Hopefully find out something in a day or two. Sent home early yesterday with instructions to wipe down our offices and go home. MUCH international travel exposure in our office.

Self isolating alone at home until we have news.
Sucks, but no gf time this weekend. Wish she was here but no way do I risk exposing her. Current temp is 99.5 and no symptoms.

This gets real when this happens to you personally as opposed to merely reading of others =o/

Quality control is a real issue with re-sellers on eBay and Amazon. You don't know whether the item for sale at an inflated price is genuine or knock-off, new or used. Who wants risk paying $15 for a used or fake mask?
