Local update:
Son (asthmatic) went to urgent care this AM with cough and difficulty breathing....given RX for antibiotics and inhalers and sent home AND was informed that even though he is high risk, AND if he had pneumonia that could be treated at home, he would NOT be tested for the virus....in other words.....
Momma is a nurse, so go home and stay there, have her make soup and hunker down at home, kid.
Needless-to say I made a HUGE pot of beef veg soup with extra onion, garlic and cabbage...so germs be damned, Im gonna win this round! :-)

My best guess is, it is due to the very limited number of tests available. Im watching him like a hawk, and believe me, if I need to take hum back later and raise hell, I am up for rhar challange as well! In the meantime, Im treating him as if he just has a bad influenza

I wonder if the hospital structures being built in California and Washington state are going to be used afterward to get the homeless situation under control.

Here in IL unless you have had direct contact with someone who has tested postive you can not get tested without proof. If you end up in ER and are admitted you will be probably be tested if you have the right symptoms. The number of people positive is not being recorded properly anywhere.
From the beginning I’ve been concerned that the homeless community will Spread the virus and infect large parts of the cities they live in.
