Wonderful that you are so well stocked.
I know many have been very dismissive of us “hoarders” but to me if something was on sale and I use it all the time why not buy a few cans for the pantry, made economic sense to me.
I went to Slaveway yesterday morning mostly to get some fresh fruit and Diet Coke.
Was planning on picking up s couple of corned beef packages but the price was too high, thought that there might be a “manager’s special” running since they had so much left from St. Paddy’s Day, but no such luck.
Meat manager said corporate is not allowing store managers to run specials anymore but will let son know if corned beef goes on sale.
I went around 8:30 and was pleasantly surprised that there were not that many people there on a Sat. morning.
Panic buying seems to be subsiding or is it that the selves are not full so folks are staying away, who knows.
Taking to the manager, the warehouses can’t get the stuff in fast enough so much is being shorted from orders.
I’m very optimistic that this will turn around in just a little while.
I heard our governor say take out alcoholic drinks, but I thought he was talking about liquor stores.

I guess corporate figures everything gets old, even if it’s not on sale.
Yeah the only thing we won’t have here is the fresh fruits and veggies. Although I have quite a few of those left from my last shopping Excursion. Hope you get your corned beef at a good price soon!
I was thinking that once the hoarders shelves are full, then the Panic buying will be subsiding. There really is no need for this, trucks are still delivering goods.

What Joe has done so far is, right after the President announced that something has been done, Joe would come out and say he would have done the same thing, except he doesn’t acknowledge that the President already did it. He talks about how inept the President is.

Was trying to bring up our local service but Cardinal Dolan at St Patrick Cathedral popped up. He had a wonderful positive message. The scripture was Jesus healing of the man blind from birth. Excellent tie ins to today. His message was just what I needed today. God is good!
