So today is the Ides or March and the Fed lowers the rates
POTUS declared today as a National Day of Prayer. It is also the Ides of March, marked by several religious observances as the deadline for settling debts.

RE: ILLINOIS RESTAURANTS
My husband picked up a pizza from a local restaurant. The owner told him the state told them they “weren’t supposed to talk about the closings” on Monday.

I have been busy with getting my husbands retirement and the Social Security, which now goes to me taken care of. Most of that went quite smoothly.
The only problem I have been having is with my Medicare D prescription plan through Humana which we have had for many years. Back last year we got notice that the particular plan we had for that year was no longer available. We each paid $26 premium monthly and if we didn't do anything they would automatically put us in a plan that would cost "each" of us $56.60 a month for our premium. I only take 2 Rx.and my husband only took 4 fairly cheap ones. So in November I went online to the Medicare site and put in the Rx for my husband and asked it to bring up the cheapest premium and Humana came up again as the cheapest for a premium of $13.60. I did the same for mine and it came up $13.60 also. So it directed me to the Humana site and I filled out for my husband then one for me. At the end of each it had me print out a confirmation. One for him and one for me. It showed we had applied for the $13.60 monthly premium so I filed it away. I have them take the premium out of our SS. So come December when I got the SS statement it showed they would be taking out of mine $56.60. I was shocked. I dug out those confirmations and saw on my husbands it had an "application" number and a "contract number", but on mine there was no "application" number but they both showed the same contract No. So I have been fighting with Humana since Dec. I have written them a letter enclosing the 2 confirmation print outs I received and they still denied me changing my premium to the $13.60. They just say they can't find the "application". Well that is NOT my fault. The thing I sent them shows I DID apply for the $13.60. NIKK since your husband worked for Humana does he have any suggestions as to what I can do?
Other then that I have been going through a box of keepsakes. Letters my mom wrote me through the years, cards from husband, kids, grand kids, year books etc.
I am somewhat depressed and lonesome. With this corona virus thing, I can't go visit my friend who lives in a Retirement Home as they have been told not to go anywhere except to doctors and not to have outside visitors, and my family isn't coming to visit for fear they may unknowingly bring it to me.
Governor Inslee just closed the schools for 6 weeks. It is fortunate my grandson and his wife who have 3 grade school children, with the help of my daughter who watches them 2 days a week, on her days off Mon. Tue., then the parents work schedule is so the dad has 2 days off Wed. Thur., and then the mother works four-tens so has Friday and the weekend. off. I don't know how other parents are going to deal with the child care problem. So far we have NO reported cases in the Tri-Cities (Pasco, Kennewick, Richland WA), but like my son keeps saying they haven't tested anyone here yet. I think it is because we live in a dryer climate. I hope this goes away soon as I am going to go stir crazy.
My daughter the one who takes care of her grand kids those 2 days also works at Winco. She said it is absolutely crazy the way people are shopping. Her store is almost completely bare as they were not able to get delivery's as there is not enough drivers. She said their store is a 24 hour store and has never had to shut down, but now they are closing for the next 2 weeks from 12am to 5am hopefully if they get the delivery's to restock.
After a few days of beautiful weather in the 60's it dropped to 32 degrees and we had some snow yesterday morning. It is all gone now and the sun is shining today, but still in the 40's.
Well that is all from here. I will try to check in once in awhile, but I have so much I need to do since I couldn't do it while taking care of my husband.
Rusty, weston,Pax,Dolly, hoosier,Cotton, and ALL of you take care and I will keep on praying for each of you.
DEMOCRAT DEBATE about ready to start on CNN...
Good to hear from you, Spunky. I was thinking of you this morning, wondering how you were doing with all you have gone through and now all of this hysteria on top of it.
Sorry to hear you’re feeling down, but I think that’s to be expected. Sorry you’re having to fight with Humana - I hope that gets settled quickly.
God bless you, Spunky.
