I did very well for years, but you have to really keep up with things. Stocks are fun, but a lot of work and risk. When I saw the interest rate was lowered, I figured precious metals would go up. But just because the Fed controls the interest rates doesn’t mean the real market doesn’t price them. And FX trading, what fun!
Awhile after I had retired (early because of health) I mostly went to less riskier and less fun investing, did really well with REIT, made a bunch on 3D printing human organs, lost on energy.
Then had to live off of most of my retirement because I couldn’t work much but couldn’t get disability, because the judge told me an educated person such as me can do something. Have enough left for emergencies.
At least I get enough SS to live on because I paid so much in to it. If you are reading this Bernie, I know you’re disappointed.
They didn’t stop it in California and other places. When I worked at the public employees union, they bragged about voter fraud, and laughed at me for being indignant. To them, it is moral to further their cause, because voters dont know what they are doing. I kid you not, that’s how they think.
Do you know the reasoning on that?
Oh im sorry, that’s so unfair. So socialized security is socialized in another way - only the less educated can get SSDI. After paying in very little.
I don’t have the personality to deal with the stock market. And after losing lots in 3 crashes- I’m risk adverse.
Lol
>>>Do you know the reasoning on that?
Biden is hospice ready. He will get only union votes. Nonunion democrats wither will stay at home or some will vote for Trump. Nam and Korea will stay at home or vote for Trump. Indians are shifting toward Trump. Chinese are a mix.
If Trump is doing well in your county then that’s something. Maybe 20% are Republican?
I remember one time going in to vote in CA. When I told them I wanted a Republican ballot everyone looked at me like I just landed from Mars.
Didn’t Trump win every county in the general?
25% GOP, but independent numbers are huge. Till 2016, I was also registered as Independent. Pete was doing very badly in early voting in California. In my county he is 5th.
In my county Biden leads Sanders 1200+ to 900+. 97% reporting.
I dont know how many voted in total, but the population of just this town is 100K+, and we had around 5K early voters last Thirsday.

Nice interactive map.
Yes, my lawyer said that happens, they figure you have other money. Socialists!
I lived in Contra Costå County my second life in CA. Used to be Republican, got taken over. I was very active in the party then, during Bush elections we had good numbers but still couldn’t win.
All new immigrants want free stuff. Those who are well educated and family income more than 300k is worse. They don’t like paying for school fees, or college fees or medical bills. You will always hear, US is such a rich country and we don’t have free medical or school fees.
Guess they dont understand that free isnt free and when 80% of their income is taken to pay for the free stuff they will suddenly be SHOCKED just like the citizens of Venezuela were!!! Then the money was GONE and there was not only no free stuff there was no stuff at all!! IDIOTS!!!
THERE'RE THREE TYPES OF PEOPLE:
Those who
make
Things happen.
TrumpThose who take
from those who
make things happen.
BernieAnd those who
don't know
what's happening.

#SuperTuesday
The 3 R candidates in CA 48, my district, got a combined 9K more votes than the incumbent Dim. That seem like a good sign to me.
