Bernie is the BIG THREAT!! If Bernie gets the nomination, I don't see how anyone with money would vote for him. I don't see how anybody on Wall Street would vote for him - he wants to put a "transaction tax" on stock trades. I don't know the details, but they mentioned on Varney that he wants to tax every stock transaction. This was today's volume on the DJIA only: 313,438,247
I don't know who is donating to him. The "poor" that he represents can't have that much money, do they? The "rich" are going to have their money confiscated through taxes, so why would they donate to him?

I don't know. I remember after Trump was elected having lunch with two now-former friends. One was glaring at me telling me that Trump would be impeached (before he was sworn in) and the other kept saying, “Bernie! Bernie!” Bernie-fan is 60, college educated, employed in a very responsible job, and a hard worker. I don't know what goes on in some people's heads, but there is collective blindness.

Im a Pence fan too. I have nothing against Pence & I think he is very capable & a very good person. I love his faith & family values.
The only thing that I see making it hard for him to win is that I don't see much charisma. I haven't followed him much & maybe Nikk who has watched him longer than I have has a different opinion. But, after the whirlwind, showman presidency of Trump, I think it will be hard for any traditional politician to win again.
Certainly, the next president, whoever it might be, will need to accomplish their goals and get results, not just make promises & spout platitudes that go unfulfilled.

Tweety might be able to answer our question Gub. She seems to have a handle on many subjects. There are old retirees who were once union people...I think will be more than happy to vote for Bernie. They hate people who are doing well. They bought into Obama and I think they'll buy into Bernie. We have a lot of sheep here in the US and mainstream media readers.

and the other kept saying, Bernie! Bernie! Bernie-fan is 60, college educated, employed in a very responsible job, and a hard worker. If that's the case with a lot of people, then the Rs have their work cut out for them in telling the truth about how Bernie is planning to take over half of their income in taxes. Federal income taxes only. That doesn't take into account state income taxes & all the other taxes.
I can't see people wanting to work for $100 and take home only $40 or less. Who the heck is going to sign up for that??

I know Mike Pence and many people don’t. After all he was our great Governor. One who left us with millions, great shape in our military, and was the person who finally got us not one bridge but two over the Ohio River after discussing it for 50 years.

******************
He says he’s “a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order.”
Pence has long said his approach to governing is informed not by party, but by his faith and his love of the Constitution.
*****************
He was raised Catholic and idolized JFK.
****************
Under Pence’s watch, Indiana has routinely appeared among the top 10 states for having a “business-friendly” climate, thanks in large part to the state’s low corporate taxes.

A key piece of the puzzle is that when everything is “free” it has to be rationed. I tried to tell that to another friend who was all for everyone being given health insurance. I tried to point out that giving everyone an insurance card doesn’t mean everyone gets seen by a doctor or gets the treatment they need.
I think about this a lot with education. It is marvelous that we have so many education options ... someone can get their act together and go to college at any time in their lives. In other countries, where education is free, you take a test out of high school and you get your choice of school based on your ranking and that’s it. Don’t do well? No college for you unless you go abroad. I don’t think free college will mean everyone who wants to go to college will get a seat in college.
I wish this would be emphasized more. If you have little money and want free college, Bernie might not be your guy because, although college might be free, you will have practically no chance of actually getting in.

Solomon on Hannity radio - House Republicans are making a criminal referral.
He also says Rs are losing faith in the system of law & order (I could have told him that!)
Soloman will have more info out later this afternoon.
I need to get back to work, so can’t follow up.
To: gubamyster
One more, Solomon says we only know about 20% of the corruption.

“Key witness told Team Mueller that Russia collusion evidence found in Ukraine was fabricated”
FTA:One of Robert Muellers pivotal trial witnesses told the special prosecutors team in spring 2018 that a key piece of Russia collusion evidence found in Ukraine known as the black ledger was fabricated, according to interviews and testimony.
The ledger document, which suddenly appeared in Kiev during the 2016 U.S. election, showed alleged cash payments from Russian-backed politicians in Ukraine to ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.
The ledger was completely made up, cooperating witness and Manafort business partner Rick Gates told prosecutors and FBI agents, according to a written summary of an April 2018 special counsels interview.
In a brief interview with Just the News, Gates confirmed the information in the summary. The black ledger was a fabrication, Gates said. It was never real, and this fact has since been proven true.
Gates account is backed by several Ukrainian officials who stated in interviews dating to 2018 that the ledger was of suspicious origins and could not be corroborated.
If true, Gates account means the two key pieces of documentary evidence used by the media and FBI to drive the now-debunked Russia collusion narrative the Steele dossier and the black ledger were at best uncorroborated and at worst disinformation. His account also raises the possibility that someone fabricated the document in Ukraine in an effort to restart investigative efforts on Manaforts consulting work or to meddle in the U.S. presidential election.
