I posted this on the Venezuela thread. It just blows my mind. I’ve never had a finance issue Thank You Lord Jesus, but I could not image just walking into a store and buying randomly what I saw with no plan on how it would feed my family and for how long.
A friend just sent me this UTube link. A proud momma of 12. Feed a family of 14 without a grocery list. I didn’t watch the whole thing, but it looked like junk food and very little meat. Who goes into the grocery store that has to feed that many and has no meal plans and sale items to purchase? I had 6 in my family, with garden and home canning and I still went with a list of sale items and meal plans based on sales.
