Shelves are the way to go....you have to be able to see what you’ve got, and be able to rotate it out.
One of my fave childhood memories is going out to my Granny’s storage room, lined with shelves, and watching her go through her canned jars, finding just the one she wanted for that stew, or pie.

I love Jeff too. I dont know what happened, but he did do a good job òn immigration and human trafficking. I’ve seen stories that DS convinced him to recuse himself from bogus Russia investigation.

electric? how come? I have a ceramic glass stove top, which doesn't conduct the heat efficiently for canning. Gas burners are best.

You can dehydrate all kinds of stuff. I just, so far, dehydrate jerky, and spices and herbs. And some dog treate.
