Looks like I misunderstood when Jay yielded back. I’m so sick of Schiff getting away with this crap. Why would mitch cede the Senate’s power to the House? They have weakened the Senate body beyond recovery.

Sekulow has a surprise for the Senate. He is arguing that if the Senate votes for more witnesses, the President's legal team would demand them to call every person that the House Democrats called in their hearings because they have not had the opportunity to cross examine them.

Never trust the Dem rats. The vote should be held today or tomorrow. If they get a delay until Wednesday, they will find something that just makes it impossible to have that vote. PDJT should not have to give the State of the Union speech before justice is done. If he does, though, it will be a speech for the ages. Only Trump could turn that lemon into lemonade.

Power still out here. Battery done on the laptop. I have switched to iPad. I wish the electricity would come back on.
This past week, during one of the power outages, one of our chronically needy people came by. He inquired why the power was out. I replied, “ because we couldn’t pay our bill.” That totally ruined the purpose of his visit! How could he ask us for money then? I admit to an evil joy as I watched him ponder this conundrum. In the end, I gave him part of what he needed.
