Good morning, all.
Thanks for the delicious breakfast sandwiches, lysie. Something to warm us up, on a chilly day.
Wes, glad you are getting the good care you need. Prayers continuing.
Good yo see you, Dolly. Hope your strength is improving, by the day.
Thanks for the beautiful prayers of healing, s&sf.
Was up late , and throughout the night, with storm warnings. Our power went out for a few hours, back on, now. Were okay, here, but lots of damage in North Tx and Louisiana. Prayers for all.
Dj, please check in when you can, to let us know all is okay.
Have a blessed day, ALL.
Good morning, Gran.
Thanks for that explaining that trick.
I always see so many great pics, on IG, that I couldnt figure out how to post.
Hows the weather in your neck of the woods, today?
Were having calm, after storms passed through.
Good morning, lysie!
Those breakfast muffins look delicious, especially the BACON!
Thank you!
Good morning, weston!
Glad you are still with us.
There is more for you to do here.
Praying for you to get stronger.
So, the story changes again.
Now, Iran ADMITS they shot down the Ukrainian airplane—unintentionally, mistaking ti for a cruise missile, which is about ten times smaller than the airplane.
Democrats still blaming Trump.
November cannot come fast enough.
Good morning, lysie.
Thanks for the yummy breakfast sandwich.
My hat is off to you, Spunky, for the great job you do for your husband.
Praying for you.
morning hon. I KNOW what you mean. My first two nights in hospital ... I had entered exhausted from weeks of next to no sleep to to pain, breathing issues etc. Those first two days I had vitals taken every hour. Was being transfused and in trying to sleep pulled something out of place frequently and alarms went off followed by nurse visit. After those first two days/nights I went on 4 hour cycles for vitals. Heaven.
How are you doing? Any pain?
Good morning, weston.
Were you able to sleep at all last night?
I know hospitals are notorious for waking a person up just as they fall off to sleep.
But I guess that is only necessary to keep checks on one.
You are in my prayers dear man.
Yikes.. what a mess Spunky. I know he is glad to have you by for comfort, support and input on the treatment plan
I hope and pray that all can be corrected so he has a better quality of life. When you are in pain, miserable and have bleeding.. scary and difficult to process often.
When I withdrew from posting the threads I was pretty sure my time was up.. and the doctors confirmed that. They said the condition had been going on undiagnosed for some time and it was just a matter of time. I hate what has happened to the medical profession with the “influence” of hospital CYA mentality, insurance companies, pharmaceuticals, and the legal professions. Doctors just cant be healers anymore it seems.
Keep us posted. I know this is scary for you too.. hugs/love
Good morning, Jane.
Glad to know all is well in your neck of the woods, the storms have passed without damage.
It is very cold here, 16*, but only got about 3 in. of snow out of last storm.
I have a childhood friend that lives in Longview, TX and I’m worried about her since the worst winds were in northern TX, right?
Haven’t heard much on TV about weather this morning but I got up late so....
Hope dj checks in soon if she can.
Good morning, Dolly.
PTL that it wasn’t your time to check out of our mortal life.
And especially thankful you are feeling better.
My hubby is so frustrated because they haven’t been able to pinpoint the cause of his health problems.
It seems all they can do is run test after test to rule out what it isn’t.
He is still refusing to go back to Heart Institute where they want to look into possible pulmonary issues.
I am so thankful it isn’t his heart.
And until we get over our colds we aren’t going anywhere.
I hope to talk to our family doctor as hubby will listen to him.
You take care and continue your good cooking.
Where have the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats gone when they have spent the last 3 days defending the life of Qassem Soleimani, one of the worst terrorists in history and the father of the roadside bomb? He was also looking to do big future damage! Dems are unhinged.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 11, 2020
Ah your hubby frustration over NOT finding any definitive answers yet is understandable... but all too common.
My friend Paul NEVER got sick until after 70 NEVER. Never even had a headache. Taught 47 years and missed 3 days (due to travel from his dads in Canada and getting stuck with the lake effect snow coming home) never illness or a cold even
Then all hell broke loose, everything from allergies to serious lung issues (non smoker) to about half a dozen serious symptoms that the docs just couldn’t figure out. Now he is in mid 90s. Bachelor and not the best diet for all his life but a dear man.
My mom and two aunts - both older were my charge to take to Cleveland Clinic. Same with them I HATED beyond hate those trips. Loved my aunts but the commute was 1.5 hrs each way. Expensive in convenient parking. LOTS of walking. Long whats in office... and in most cases NO RESOLUTION of issue. Just throw some medicine at it and hope it might work . Usually did not
I miss the mentality of the general KNOWELEGEABLE general practioner. A holistic approach. Now all is farmed out to specialists .. mostly to eliminate .. some times diagnosis the big issues.
That is what I love about my chiropractor (most dont know but in most states - for sure Ohio, they MUST take the MD state boards as well as their chiropractic counter parts. He has helped me more than any docs. They should not be treating things outside their realm but often do.. (BAD). But they can give guidance as they work from a holistic viewpoint. I was told I needed bilateral carpal tunnel surgery by locals. My cousin (an orthopod in NC) suggested I ask my chiro to check it out. He did and in a few weeks I was symptom free. Same with back issues, Neck. My friends go to their MDs and are thrown a multitude of meds to cover/handle the pain - NOT correct the physical issue causing the problem and symptoms. My chiro corrects these. No meds needed. I have several serious back issues that I have had since a teen. No surgical correction on them. MY brother had the same issues and did have surgery. He was given a back rod. Which slipped and had to be corrected. His pain is now worse than prior surgery and the rod has compromised his ability to have good chiropractic care
I have had 7 sprained ankles. Never fun. I am a very active person physically(well was), a PE teacher and a klutz. If you have ever had one, you KNOW. 8 weeks of severe pain. My last one I had slipped on ice a few years ago. threw out my back. Called the chiro office and jokingly asked .. hey after he fixes my back what can he do for my ankle. Expected a laugh. the receiptionist asked when it happened. II said half hour ago. She said get right in.
I did. Actually crawled into the office it was so severe. Very typical sprain look but huge. If you have had a bad one you know what I mean.
He is NOT into ICE. Heat and traction. that is why an athlete can have an severe ankle injury early in game and by the end can play again.
I walked out of the office a few hours later with just a tinge of pain. Came back the next two consecutive days for same treatment and was completely pain free afterward.
I will defend my ethical and competent chiropractor to anyone.
Prayers for all Still having network issues. Big wind & tons of rain here !

My uncle, the doctor, said 50% of all doctors graduate in bottom half of their class. Misdiagnosis is way too common.
Praying that you continue to get the top 50% and that they have use of all the most modern diagnostic equipment.
Today would have been my dads 100th birthday.
We had an ice storm last night. No electricity at our house, but the lights are on at the local restaurant.
Have two cousin that were chiropractors. One had been a pharmacist for years but was totally disgusted with all the chemicals doctors prescription he filled for symptoms caused by other medications. Switched professions Both know their stuff. The pharmacist/chiropractor particularly. It was his dad who made the 50% comment.
I had been diagnosed with mumps. It was actually strepticacah-milleriah. (Sp) an abscess infection I fought for fifty years. My immune system is shot. He and my aunt who had a masters in microbiology diagnosed it but it took over fifty years for the doctors to find the source.
Just prescribed more antibiotics! Now gut is a mess.
Just realized forgot to ping folks
To APV. And the net is down up down up again
Wonderful news, weston! Your doctor may have called already, im playing catch-up. im always the last to leave the party on the old threads lol.
