Good morning Deplorables!

The tone of last night's tweet by our VSG President DJT, gives us insight into where things are likely going to go with regards to the Iranian missile attack on Al Asad airbase (10 hits) and the Iraqi city of Erbil (1 hit) and 4 misses (landing location unknown), and POTUS’s pending response to these attacks.

IMHO-Iran was too accurate in missing Americans and facilities for the action to be unintentional.

I spent 25 months in Iraq, with most of the time working at Al Asad. Like all airfields, there is way more open space than enclosed space. There is an outer perimeter and an inner perimeter to almost all of these downrange bases. Al Asad, is no exception and is basically 6 miles by 6 miles square, and about 5 % of the entire square footage is occupied. So, Iran- had 95% of the base to hit without causing any casualties or damage, and additionally- all of the outer perimeter to land their missiles in, which is multiple times greater in size than the main base area, in which to still claim that they hit Al Asad airbase.

That they were able to launch missiles from inside Iran, and fly them across the country and yet hit the base, tells one that they have the technology down pat for accuracy, and the capability to either be on target or off target. In other words, if they can hit the base from all the way inside Iran, they can hit the base's garrison area (main post) if they wanted to with their weaponry.

With that being said-

I have been meaning to convey this terrible news to you, as an AZ resident, about the killing of a Gilbert resident in Africa.

A former colleague of Harrison, Steve Kramer, posted about his death on Facebook Monday morning.

It is with great sadness today that I share about the loss of one of our Lifeguard-3 family and former pilots Dustin Harrison. Dustin was killed in the terrorist attack in Kenya, Africa yesterday. Dustin was a wonderful friend, father and outstanding pilot to fly with. Rest In Peace Dustin and may God bless & keep your family during this terrible time.

“My world is completely a nightmare right now,” Harrison’s wife wrote in a social media post. “… My life will never be the same … Fly high my handsome pilot. I love you forever.”

Food stamp rolls have declined by 7M under Trump even before reforms take effect

Trump’s year-end list of “results” included the boast that “nearly 7 million Americans have been lifted off of food stamps,” which the administration credited to people “being lifted out of poverty as a result of today’s booming economy.”

Indeed, the latest data from the Department of Agriculture shows that 7.7 million fewer Americans receive food stamps now than did when Trump entered the White House. The Agriculture Department administers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, but the actual food stamp benefits are distributed by individual states.
